POSITION VACANCY
RUMP PUMP SYSTEM OFFICER (1 position)
Code : RKU/005/WASH/Rump Pump Officer/II/11
Location/base : Kupang, NTT
Start date : a.s.a.p
Duration of contract : 18 months in total
Objective
1: Ensure the promotion of the ram pump systems
Activities:
- Design a promotion plan, with local stakeholders (UNICEF, Pokja
AMPL);
- Write article on NTT WASH newsletter;
- Disseminate at provincial level the ACF booklet on RPS;
- Organize training on RPS.
Objective 2: Develop and implement ram pump systems
Activities:
- Validate the relevance of the intervention area, the selection of beneficiaries, identification of committed players;
- Design the RPS;
- Ensure the RPS project’s technical and financial follow-up;
- Identify and anticipate problems or constraints;
- Follow the project’s advancement by regular visits;
- Train the implementing partners on RPS (ToT);
- Support the implementing partner to train the beneficiaries on RPS.
Objective 3: Elaborate a plan for the autonomy of a RPS centre
Activities:
- Write the TOR for the one month business plan study;
- Implement the result of the study.
Qualifications/experience:
· Degree in Civil, mechanical, hydraulics, environmental study and experience in project management
· WASH technical knowledge
· Project management capacity
· Ability to analyze and synthesize
· Good relations with people
· Good level of English, writing and speaking
