*BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER*
Key Responsibilities
• Developing and implementing a business research plan i.e. collecting and analyzing data to evaluate existing and potential business opportunities and market data for WorldFish research;
• Identifying and monitoring market conditions or changes in the external funding environment that may affect WorldFish;
• Conducting research for determining WorldFish brand perceptions and understanding WorldFish donor and partner needs;
• Working with the Director of Communications and Donor Relations in identifying business development opportunities for WorldFish research;
• Monitoring media messaging, identifying and disseminating media material that is of key interest to the WorldFish mandate;
• Planning and executing donor and partner engagements including campaigns, events and meetings i.e. supporting the preparation and updating of corporate communication material targeted at donors such as donor intelligence briefs, brochures, website messaging, media releases;
• Designing and undertaking analysis of WorldFish donor and partner events to determine effect-cause relationships between actions and outcomes;
• Supporting the design and implementation of an annual donor and partner satisfaction survey and compiling results report;
• Working with the WorldFish web designer in monitoring and tracking website messaging; and
• Managing and ensuring accurate and efficient maintenance of the international and local donor organizations such as international foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies and private corporations offering donations contacts database.
Skills and Abilities
Essential
• Excellent understanding of business and market analysis;
• Good knowledge of business development techniques;
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications;
• Professional English written communication and language skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of people;
• Ability to work independently, taking initiative and adaptable to solve problems either independently or collaboratively as a member of a team;
• Capacity to work under pressure in a fast paced non-profit environment; and
• Commitment to quality and timely delivery and customer service.
Desired
• Secondary language such as French or Spanish
• Project management.
Qualifications and Experiences
Essential
• Masters’ Degree in Business with a focus on marketing and communication;
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in non-profit and for profit marketing and business environment; and
• Proven business development and analysis experience.

• Proven experience of successfully managing several projects at one time and seeing projects through to completion;
• Previous experience in a user or client-facing role and of working across multiple organisational divisions;
• Strong knowledge of current marketing tools and methods of engagement; and
• Possess a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to various situations.
