Coordinator for Indonesia-Australia Forest Carbon Partnership

COORDINATOR for INDONESIA-AUSTRALIA FOREST CARBON PARTNERSHIP (IAFCP)


Reporting to the Counsellor for Climate Change, the Coordinator will lead the implementation of the $100 million Indonesia-Australia Forest Carbon Partnership which aims to trial approaches to implement REDD+ (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation) in Indonesia.

The Coordinator will manage a team in close cooperation with a Government of Indonesia-appointed Co-Coordinator and be responsible for delivering IAFCP objectives and outputs, working closely with the Indonesian Government Executing Agencies, under the strategic direction of a joint Steering Committee. The appointed Coordinator will work from the IAFCP Partnership Office in Jakarta with regular travel to project areas and regular liaison with government and non-government stakeholders.
