HR Officer based in Jakarta for IUWASH

The Indonesia Urban Water Sanitation and Hygiene (IUWASH) project is a sixty-month program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented under the leadership of DAI. IUWASH works with government, the private sector, NGOs, community groups and other stakeholders to improve access to safe water supply and sanitation in Indonesia’s urban areas.

IUWASH is currently recruiting for a Human Resources (HR) Officer to assist the Chief of Party and Deputy Chief of Party in the management of all human resources functions for the Project’s head office in Jakarta as well as four regional offices. The HR Officer will ensure personnel policies areimplemented consistently and are up to date, oversee the benefits package to long-term staff, and coordinate the hiring and employment process project-wide. Specific responsibilities shall include the following:

1. Assist the COP and DCOP in setting personnel policies (in the form of the Personnel Manual) and ensure that these policies are understood and followed by all employees;
2. Coordinate the recruitment needs of the Project;
3. Process employment agreements and assist the COP and DCOP in setting remuneration for new hires;
4. Collect/verify necessary personnel documentation and maintain complete and current master files for each employee;
5. Coordinate the Annual Performance Review Process across all offices;
6. Manage the IUWASH Benefits package for all long-term staff.

*REPORTING*

The Human Resources Officer will report to the Operations Manager.

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*

An undergraduate degree in an applicable field and a minimum of seven years of experience in Human Resources Management. Demonstrated understanding of Indonesian labor law. English Language Skills. Good computer skills, including Microsoft office, internet, and email. Experience with USAID programs desirable.
