arche noVa is a non-government organization established as humanitarian aid to carry out its vision, Initiative For People In Need, which provides immediate help to people in need regardless of race, creed, gender or national origin. arche noVa – Intiative For People In Need, takes its part to achieve its goal surrendering its knowledge to the local communities and offering assistance to selfhelp through establishing a watsan project since November 2011 in response to emergency caused by tsunami and earth quake Mentawai 25 October 2011. In order to run the project activity to reach its goal, arche noVa is currently seeking a candidate to fill the position below
Position : Logistician
Based : Kep. Mentawai
start date : ASAP
Tasks and competencies:
• Responsible for all Purchase, Collect Quotation, Preparing Bid Analysis, PO's, and PRF's or responsible for all financial aspects relating to procurement.
• Warehouse management and Stock reconciliation, control stock.
• Responsible of the Logistics Department in support of Watsan programs.
• Organize the material distribution on the site for Watsan latrine programs.
• Report and coordinate with Project Manager regarding the activities of the Logistics Department
• Scheduling maintanance for the vehicles
• Oversee vehicles daily operations and the travel request
Qualifications
• A broad understanding of NGO's working with at least 3-4 years experience.
• Proficient in English and Indonesian languages.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to form & maintain a good working relationship with other team
members, partners and stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high quality results
(compliance with deadlines, policies, procedures) is an essential requirement.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Adaptability to work in a multicultural environment is necessary.
• Willing and able to travel/visit project sites as requested
• Available immediately
• Preferable from west sumatera area
