Vacancy at IIEF: Chief of Party

Indonesian International Education Foundation (IIEF) is hiring for the position of:*

*Chief of Party (based in Jakarta)*

*The Chief of Party will:*

1. Be responsible in developing and managing nationwide scholarship program, which is especially targeting individuals from underserved areas and disadvantaged populations;
2. Be able to supervise the team performance while implementing high-quality, time-scheduled management;
3. Oversee the project activities to ensure the quality work and compliance with contractual obligations and results;
4. Oversee the overall project management and impacts, providing strategic planning, and managing the decision making process;
5. Be responsible of external representation and coordination with USAID, project partners, stakeholders, and other project implementers;


*Qualifications:*

1. Possess advance graduate degree;
2. At least six years of work experience related to participant training program, with at least four years in managerial or team leader capacity is preferred;
3. At least two years of first-hand overseas work experience;
4. Posses proven leadership in and significant international experience leading capacity development programs that involved the collaborative design, implementation, and subsequent expansion and replication of project activities;
5. Demonstrates commitment to addressing challenges of higher education reform in developing countries;
6. Possess proven leadership and effectiveness in the administration of similar size international donor technical assistance projects, including demonstrated skills and success in strategic planning, management, supervision, and budgeting;
7. Possess strong communication skills, both interpersonal and written;
8. Proficient in English, both oral and writing;
9. Possess experience in Training and Capacity Development Program;
10. Preferably possess knowledge of Indonesian higher education challenges, opportunities, and issues;
11. Preferably possess wide networks with stakeholders from underrepresented communities (local government, NGOs, universities, etc);
12. Preferably possess experience in managing scholarship program nationwide.
