JAKARTA

1. Health Information System Specialist – Health and Nutrition Programs

The Health Information System Specialist is responsible for the development, setting up, and the scale-up of innovations in health information data collection, processing, management and dissemination in Mercy Corps Indonesia health program areas.

Qualifications:


Educational background in information technology, public health, and/or data management
Experienced in designing and setting up database systemFamiliarity with Indonesia health information system, particularly MCH information managementProficient in data analysis software (e.g. EPI Info, STATA, SpSS,) and mobile technology utilization for data collection
Advanced report writing and dissemination experience
Experienced in knowledge transfer to and capacity building of data utilization stakeholders
Proficient in EnglishFamiliarity with MOH’s computerized maternal-child health monitoring and tracking system (LAMAT) is an advantageExperience in the mobile health initiatives/projects is an advantage

2. ME Assistant – Health and Nutrition Program

Responsible for working with Health and Nutrition Program Team and under direct supervision of Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator to develop M&E plan and working in the M&E Activity, a relevant indicators and tools for measurement, conduct semi-structured exit interviews, compile the data and summarize the themes that emerge, assist with Health and Nutrition Program Team with their routine data entry task, ensuring the database is updated in a timely fashion, the analysis of data and discuss with Program Manager, Project Coordinator, M&E Coordinator and Field Officers how to use the results in implementation.

Qualifications:

Possess a relevant university degree or college diploma and relevant 2-3 years work experience.
Experience working in monitoring and evaluation, ideally in an NGO context.
Experience in Quantitative data collection and analysis
Experience in Qualitative data collection and analysis.
Experience using Excel, Access and statistic software (Epi Info, SPSS, Stata)
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, highly desired.
Effective time management and organization skills including priority setting and responding to program needs.
Effective interpersonal communication skills including:
Problem-solving skills, being proactive and taking initiative.

Central Java

1. Mother Support Group National Coordinator
– Health and Nutrition Program

MSG National Coordinator is responsible for continuous development of capacity of Mercy Corps partners to implement and expand community-based Mothers Support Group model in the highest quality possible. The MSG National Coordinator is also responsible to advocate for replication and adoption of MSG by the governing partner, monitoring and documentation of the MSG implementation and related indicators

Qualifications:
- Advance knowledge and skills on Mercy Corps’ Mothers’ Support Group model
- Minimum 3 years experience of working for maternal and child health issues in Indonesia
- Minimum 2 years experience as trainer for community and health staff in Indonesia
- Proven knowledge and skills on the applications of adult learning principles
- Excellent presentation skills
- Willing to travel up to 60% of the time Background education in public health or medicine is an advantage
- Proficiency in English verbal and writing is an advantage
- Ability to comprehensively document processes is preferred


Central Java and Maluku

1. Mother Support Group Officer – Health and Nutrition Program

Mercy Corps’ MSG Officer is responsible to support project coordinators in implementing community-based Mothers Support Group model in the highest quality possible. That will be done by ensuring trainers and training preparations will be adequate and sufficient for replication of MSG in Mercy Corps program area. The officer is also responsible to support project coordinators in further engagement with MSG stakeholders under the coordination of the MSG National Trainer.

Qualifications:

- Certified as MSG trainer
- Have been actively facilitating MSG training in the last 12 months.
- Minimum 2 years experience of working for maternal and child health issues in Indonesia
- Minimum 2 years experience as trainer for community and health staff in Indonesia
- Proven knowledge and skills on the applications of adult learning principles
- Willing to travel up to 50% of the time
- Background education in public health or medicine is an advantage
- Ability to comprehensively document processes is preferred

The post for MSG Officer will be as permanent and temporary staff 3 months. For permanent staff will be based in Jawa Tengah and for temporary staff will be based in Maluku.
