DRR/Government Partnership Officer

This position will support DRR Scale-Up program in Kota Padang and will be responsible for all activities in related to implement the DRR capacity building for BPBD staffs and member of DPTs in district and village level as follows:

Assist the Government and BPBD of Kota Padang to implement the DRR Scale Up program, firstly on assessing and identify the needs on establishing of the DPT in selected villages in Kota PadangIdentify the needs of BPBD and DPTs related to Disaster Preparedness plan programs in the district, sub-district and village level in Kota PadangPrepare a collaboration work plan and implement the action plan of the DRR Scale-Up Program in Kota Padang in coordination with BPBD and Kota Padang GovernmentWork together on preparing a training modules with BPBD of Kota Padang and partnersCoordinate and facilitate all activities with the Government of Kota Padang, BPBD and other related department in Kota Padang in regard to implementation of the DRR Scale Up program.Coordinate and facilitate all activities that will be conducted by local partner in DRR Scale-Up Program especially in regard to partner program plan and implementation to the parliament members in Kota Padang.

The staff will work very closely with Government Partnership Manager and PREPARE Sumbar Staffs to solve any implementation problems that occur during the program implementation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any field and minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

Should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with community members of the program, especially the government and BPBD stakeholders

Relevant training as a facilitatorSuccessful experience working with district and provincial level government Satisfactory level of written & spoken in English, Bahasa Indonesia and Local Language

Computer skills in Word and Excel

Area knowledge of West Sumatra province

This position will be as temporary staff for 6 months.
