FINANCE OFFICER

Founded in 1987, RutgersWPF is aimed at improving reproductive health and ensuring reproductive rights in developing countries. RutgersWPF has implemented projects in Asia, Africa and Latin America. In 2005, RutgersWPF Indonesia established a field office in Jakarta, Indonesia in order to more effectively manage and expand its current portfolio. RutgersWPF’s Country Strategy in Indonesia focuses on improving sexuality and reproductive health services and information for young people and decreasing gender based violence.

RutgersWPF Indonesia manages program of Adult Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (ASRHR) and Gender Based Violence (GBV) programs in various provinces in Indonesia. In cooperation with various local NGO partners, this program aims to first, to provide ASRHR services for young people such as adequate information on ASRHR issues, including enhancing capacity building for teachers and parents; and second to provide intervention program to prevent gender based violence with local NGO partners, and third, to mobilize advocacy program to influence decision makers to support SRHR education and GBV programs and provide adequate budget for that.

Due to this project development, we are now seeking outstanding candidate talents to fill the following positions at our Jakarta Office:

FINANCE OFFICER (Code FO)

Task and Responsibilities

a. FINANCIAL & ACCOUNTING
1. Oversee petty cash report weekly
2. Process and release outgoing bank payment after obtaining authorization from CR weekly.
3. To do bookkeeping for all transactions
4. Assist to provide Technical Assistance in financial system or procedure to local partner if needed.
5. Monitoring outstanding A/R and A/P balance

b. BUDGETING
1. Data entry annual budget to the system
2. Update budget status periodically.

c. FINANCIAL SYSTEM
1. Data Entry all transactions to the system
2. Maintenance the database and looking for solution when find the system problem

d. AUDIT
1. Assist to prepare the annual audit process with auditor who was appointed by WPF
2. Assist to prepare for office audits and follow up for audit’s recommendation
3. Assist to maintain proper documentation of purchased, vendor payment, staff disbursements, and other for audit proposes.
4. Keep all financial record for a minimum of seven years.

e. GENERAL SERVICES
1. Oversee office milling system
2. Maintain good relationships with local partners, donors, and other third parties including vendor and bank.
3. Organize meeting, training, workshop and other events which related with the project (if needed).

Qualifications
· Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines
· A minimum of 3 years professional experience in finance, accounting or auditing position.
· Excellent inter-personal and writing communication skills.
· Willing to ork in gender equity working environment
· Advanced Knowledge of Major Software Application (Microsoft Office) and Finance Application
· Possesses astrong service orientation
· Able to work independently and take initiatives, but also be a team worker
· Excellent in Communication Skills
· Good command of English.
