Finance Officer

Indonesia AIDS Coalition (IAC) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGOs) working for HIV and AIDS issues in the working area Indonesia and domiciled in Jakarta. IAC works especially for promote public policy in favor of AIDS-affected communities and the rights of minorities and women.

Currently IAC requires staff who are willing to join the program "Promotion of transparency, accountability and participation of civil society in AIDS prevention ", with the position and the following criteria:

Finance Officer

The duration of the contract for 1 year with a 3-month trial and the possibility extension at the end of the contract.

Key Responsibilities: *

Coordination of Finance *

1. Finance officer will be responsible to the Coordinator of the IAC.
2. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of practice-pratek and financial system and ensure compliance with organizational procedures
3. Monitor, advise and ensure the implementation of practices mainly related to the financial partners of the project organization
4. Financial transactions and bank guarantee (for office and project)
5. Identify and create / adapt to meet the financial system program needs
6. Conduct regular financial audits to project partners and lead the work coordination between the Project Officer, Project assistant and external auditors
7. Ensuring financial reporting in accordance with donor standards and policies finance

* Financial Management *

1. Ensures all financial reports accurately, in accordance with deadlines and ensure the quality of financial reporting
- Verify all financial reports for internal office and external; monthly expenditure reports (monthly expenditure); report tax, financial reporting to donors etc
- Provide the latest financial management / monthly project in accordance with an agreement with project staff
- Verify and consolidate the cashbook of financial transactions monthly into the organization's financial system
- Prepare monthly reports as necessary organizational organizations.
2. In collaboration with project staff, in the process of budgeting, monitoring and evaluation and review of financial reports of the project partners
3. Creating a financial system with project partners to ensure good practices and accountable
4. Responsible for the financial documentation and system financial documentation of project and program implementation organization

Competency / Qualifications Key *

1. Having minimum 3 years work experience in finance / accounting
2. Preferred female
3. Minimum D3 Accounting (S1 accounting precedence)
4. Trained and have work experience in accounting, budgeting and financial management (preferred)
5. Having the experience and knowledge related to reporting to donors, is a plus
6. Able to use computer (MS office and email) and internet
7. Having good communication skills and can speak English actively
8. Ability to work alone / independently, have a sense of responsibility and initiative
9. Good interpersonal relationship skills and have experience working in small teams
10. Have the meticulous attention to detail and
11. Interested in working for NGOs
