The Indonesia Urban Water Sanitation and Hygiene (IUWASH) project is a sixty-month program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented under the leadership of DAI. IUWASH works with government, the private sector, NGOs, community groups and other stakeholders to improve access to safe water supply and sanitation in Indonesia’s urban areas.

IUWASH is currently recruiting for a Human Resources (HR) Officer to assist the Chief of Party and Deputy Chief of Party in the management of all human resources functions for the Project’s head office in Jakarta as well as four regional offices. The HR Officer will ensure personnel policies areimplemented consistently and are up to date, oversee the benefits package to long-term staff, and coordinate the hiring and employment process project-wide. American Red Cross - National Consultant for Feasibility Study of Teunom Water Syste

American Red Cross Aceh Water and Sanitation Program seek to build on and to ensure the sustainability of ARC previous Tsunami Recovery Program. One of the activities planned in the current project conducting a feasibility study for Teunom Water System that has been rehabilitated by the American Red Cross and handed over to BLUD (Badan Layanan Umum Daerah) Calang as to manage and operate the system.

Teunom Water System is now connected to 3 villages namely Keudee Teunom, Alue Ambang and Panton, but because of higher operational cost in comparison to the revenue can be generated from water bills with the current users, BLUD Calang has not been able to operate the system. This has raised questions over the sustainability of the system. Expanding the coverage by connecting to new houses in neighboring communities could be an alternate solution in order to increase revenue.

Lutheran World Relief is currently accepting expressions of interest from potential Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist/Project Manager candidates interested in Lutheran World Relief's submission for an upcoming USAID-funded climate adaptation and disaster resilience project in Indonesia. The Disaster Risk Reduction Specialist/Project Manager is responsible for day to day program management; providing the main technical guidance for the program, designing the support program and technical aspects of the annual work plan programs and, where appropriate, offering technical assistance to strategic partners.
