Vacancy for the position of PROGRAM OFFICER/ASSISTANT PROGRAM OFFICER


The InternationalRepublican Institute (IRI), a USAID funded nongovernmental organization

announces vacancy forthe position of

PROGRAM OFFICER/ASSISTANT PROGRAM OFFICER

Program Manager will serve as a local representative for IRI in Indonesia.



Responsibilities:

Assists in developing long range and annual plans for IRI’s political party development program
Identifies key players and partners in the local context; develops training modules for political party development and coalition-building
Correspond with Indonesian political party representatives, regional and local party activists and government officials
Arrange, facilitate and participate in meetings, consultations, workshops and training programs with Indonesian political parties
Remain current on political developments in Indonesia by reading newspapers and following television news broadcast on a daily basis
Research and write briefing papers; provide background information on key political counterparts and proposed meeting agendas
Oversee office operations, including personnel, budget and accounting procedures

Requirements:

College degree (Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Economics or other social sciences preferred)
Fluency in English
Previous work and management experience
Excellent communication and writing skills
Team-oriented person

Salary will be competitiveand in line with previous experience.
