Médecins Sans Frontières
(MSF) is an international humanitarian medical organisation which
provides care to people victim of natural disasters, armed conflicts,
epidemics or to population
with no or little access to health care.
Each year, hundreds of
medical specialists (gynecologists, surgeons, anesthesiologists) go to
MSF health structures and maternities for a period of six weeks to six
months. They leave
their daily life with a humanitarian motivation and a willingness to
bring their competences and their experience within the frame of MSF.
As gynecologist
obstetrician, you are one of the key persons for the continuity of
quality care for the patients coming to our facilities. The MSF
gynecologist is taking care of the
patients and is also training local staff and doctors.
In order to continue
providing quality health care to pregnant women, we definitively need
experienced and motivated female gynecologists to go to Pakistan and
Afghanistan.
