2017 to 2022, where the country objective has been
defined as “to identify and facilitate
the removal of obstacles that prevent children from enjoying their rights and
participating fully in Indonesian society”. The organization’s purpose is to “strive for a just world that
advances children’s rights and equality for girls”. This goal will be
achieved by providing technical support and implementing quality programs and
projects through partnership. An effective and efficient communications
strategy is a must for Plan Indonesia to share the outcomes of these projects
to influence different actors, specially state authorities and to position Plan’s
profile within and outside at different levels – starting from community, sub district, district to national,
regional and international levels.

Corporate and Major Donor Fundraising Officer – Contract Based
Typical Responsibilities - Key End Results of
Position:
Key Result Area (KRA) 1: Develop and implement donor acquisitions
strategy (for corporate and major donors) to achieve the fundraising targets. Indicators for
success: Having the complete database of corporate and major donor in place and
updated every month. Mapped potential
income from existing and potential corporate and major donor. Get advice to the Program Department and to
partners in projects and programs that work closely with media corporates to
what programs /projects can be used for fundraising.
Collaborated with the Program and Business Development Department in
the design and implementation of proposal, events and activities for corporate
and major donor. Monitor the status
progress and pipeline from existing and potential corporate and major donor.. Monitor
revenue and expenses according to the annual forecast. Design and execute donor retention strategy in collaboration
with marketing team to maintain loyalty of corporate and major donor. On-time and quality monthly updates and reports. Key Result Area (KRA) 2: Actively participate in the
fundraising management team Indicators for success: Represent
Plan Indonesia internally and externally on issues dealing with Major Donors &
Corporate fundraising. Participate
in the national/ regional/ global/ networks, actively contributing to the
exchange of best-practices and joint efforts to improve quality and impact of
Plan’s regular giving approaches and outcomes.
COMPETENCY
REQUIREMENT : Bachelor's Degree and minimum 3 years of related fundraising experience; or
an equivalent combination of education/experience; Demonstrated knowledge of
Excel and Word; Good communication
skills (written and verbal) in English and Indonesian language; Deep knowledge
of donor relations and stewardship; Ability to deal with complains and queries
from donors and respond professionally to them; Ability to present and explain
data; Proven communications skills including experience in writing proposal/concept
note; Deep knowledge on corporate and major donor behaviour. Outgoing
personality and ability to initiate and enjoy direct communication with donors
and potential donors; customer-service orientation; Highly motivated and
energetic, ability to show initiative and work independently; Outstanding
interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work
well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients
and vendors; Experience with budgeting, planning and project administration; Ability
to handle diverse, simultaneous tasks, meet deadlines, and attend to
follow-through; Experience with a youth organization and knowledge of
philanthropic community preferred; Evenings and weekends are required.
