KDM Vacancy - Street Children Rescue Program

Kampus Diakonia Modern (KDM) is a social institution assisting development
of street children located in Pondok Gede, Bekasi, West Java, is looking
for dynamic and creative individual to take up position below:

*Rescue team staff*

*Qualifications:*

·         Fresh graduate are welcome

·         Interested in street children issue

·         Having good network with universities

·         Male/Female

·         Sufficient English speaking

·         Social science background

·         Legal/law knowledge is an advantage

·         Having experience in social organization, and able to work in a
team

·         Good computer and communication skill

*Responsibilities:*

·         Implementing KDM’s idea/vision about rescue (rescuing children of
the street)

·         Develop community

·         Making strategies (with universities, etc.)

·         Develop networking with another organization, school, etc.

·         Build communication with kids’ family

·         Make children safe, as the result

·         Parent-counseling and referral

·         Capacity building for volunteer

·       Manage or collect data/information from children and inform to KDM
(daily activity) and put all the data on the system

·         Make a record about children who go back to their family


We send our rescue team out onto the streets, where they build rapport with
vulnerable children and provide them with basic first aid. *In addition,
they inform them of the alternatives to the dangerous lifestyle that KDM
can provide, inspiring them to hope for a better future.*
