We are currently seeking to recruit an Administration and Procurement
Officer to help implement a CIDA-funded project, Better Approaches to
Service Provision through Increased Capacities in Sulawesi (BASICS). The
project purpose is to link planning and budgeting processes in a
participatory, pro-poor, gender equal and environmentally sustainable
manner leading to improved MDGs/MSS-based social services provision in
selected districts/cities in Sulawesi.
Duty station will be in Kendari.

Reports to: Provincial Coordinator
* *
S/he will liaise closely with the five district/city Administration &
Finance Assistants and be responsible for providing administrative and
procurement assistance to support successful implementation of all
BASICS activities
in her/his province.
*Key responsibilities will include*:
· logistical assistance to facilitate activities undertaken in the
province including bookings for training venues, travel bookings,
preparation and reproduction of training materials, etc;
· preparing quotation requests and service provision and procurement
agreements and contracts for BRI activities;
· ensure smooth handling of all BASICS related correspondence at the
provincial level including preparation of letters, email and telephone
communications;
· management of all BASICS related soft and hardcopy filing systems for
the respective province;
· liaise with District Facilitators and respective Administration &
Finance Assistants to support smooth administration of all BASICS
activities;
· assistance in preparing BRI progress reports for review by the
Provincial Coordinator;
· handle petty cash, including preparation of petty cash reports,
reconciliation and replenishments;
· assist in managing and coordinating maintenance of the Manado office
premises including office space, furniture, IT equipment;
· assist in coordinating the use, management and maintenance of all
project vehicles;
· assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory of project
physical resources
· logistical assistance to facilitate visits by CIDA representatives, the
Project Monitor and BASICS advisors; and other relevant tasks as assigned
by the Office Administration & Logistics Manager from time to time.
