Uplift
International is an international NGO that has been working in Indonesia since
1998. Our mission is to improve the well-being of the world’s most vulnerable
populations by promoting the universal human right to health through education,
advocacy, and humanitarian efforts. We are seeking applicants to work in our
School Health and Nutrition program.  School and community vegetable gardening is a core activity of the
program.  We have an opening for a
Program Officer to work in this innovative activity. The position is based in
Jakarta.

Job Requirements:
The applicant should have a relevant educational background,
minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in agriculture, at least 5 years of experience in agriculture,
specifically related to growing vegetables.  The candidate must possess a strong understanding of agriculture, agricultural
economics, community empowerment issues, ability and desire to work as a team member, and
good command of the English language. Strong analytic and
report writing skills are essential.  Preference
will be given to candidates that can use a motorbike, as it is required to
access the schools and communities in the program.
