of Sustainable Supply Chains
Job Description
UTZ Certified works
together with major stakeholders – from industry, government and civil society
to producers and farmers – to achieve a more sustainable sector for coffee, tea
and cocoa. The UTZ Certified Field Development Department
works towards raising the number of farmers working in accordance with the UTZ
requirements and vision.

UTZ Certified is
looking for Trainer of Sustainable Supply Chainswho will be responsible for the development and
coordination of the UTZ Certified training program in Indonesia. You coordinate
the development of training curricula and materials. You sustain and develop
the trainers’ network and implement master trainings in coordination with key
stakeholders. You
work on scaling up UTZ certification with UTZ colleagues, international and
local partners. You create and maintain partnerships for training, financing,
input supply. You are a pragmatic, credible and inspiring ambassador of UTZ
Certified towards all stakeholders in the sector.

Position and Key Responsibilities:

·         Job title:                    Trainer
of Sustainable Supply Chains
·         Type of position:     One
year contract
·         Duty station:            Sanur,
Bali, with frequent travel to coffee, cocoa, and tea producing regions in
Indonesia
·         Reporting:                The Trainer reports
to the UTZ Certified Country Representative in Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities

•         Develop,
implement, and update training and materials program for Indonesia in coffee,
cocoa and tea
•         Organize
and conduct Trainings of Trainers (ToTs) for UTZ Certified members, partners,
and relevant stakeholders
•         Develop
training guide with objectives and expected results
•         Develop
training materials for ToT-trainings
•         Develop
training materials that are socio-culturally appropriate to be used at farmer
level
•         Develop
training guide with objectives and expected results
•         Provide
follow up and monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the trainings
conducted
•         Maintain
good relationships and liaise with stakeholders in the three (3) commodity sectors

Required Qualifications
•         Excellent
communication skills
•         Knowledge
of extension methodologies
•         Knowledge
and experience in training and capacity building for adults in rural
communities
•         Knowledge
and experience in agricultural sustainable supply chains and certification,
preferably coffee and/or cocoa sector (tea is an advantage)
•         Knowledge
and experiences of agricultural practices in the aforementioned commodities
•         Able
to conduct trainings for master trainers and provide follow up, including
monitoring and evaluating impact
•         Develop
farmer/producer appropriate materials for extension purposes for master
trainers
•         Languages:
Bahasa Indonesia native speakerand English (fluent)
