VACANCY

Directorate General of Regional Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Republic of Indonesia is
looking for a junior researcher and an information manager to assist the smoothness of
our annual program related with regional-development potential data (SIPD). The main program aims to synergize and harmonize the data between the local governments and national governments,
with specific focus on DATA WITHIN THE SCOPE OF DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF REGIONAL
DEVELOPMENT. The main responsibilities and the requirementsof those positionsare as follows :

An
Information Manager

Main Responsibilities :
o    Composing a grand design of DATA CENTER
o    Compiling number of regulations with regards to the importance of data, and
constructing Ministry Ordinance related with SIPD

Requirements :
o    Male/Female
o    Bachelor Degree in Statistics, Sociology, Economics from reputable
university, A Master Graduate would be advantage
o    2 – 5 years Experience in managing a large scale data
o    Proactive and open mindset and eager to learn on new concept and things
relevant with his/her jobs
o    Has a great interest in DATA, familiar with spreadsheet, internet and related
software such as SPSS, etc.
o    Highly self motivated, independent, positive attitude,also mature
o    Team player and able to work under pressure
o    Excellent computer literate and fluent in English

A Junior Researcher

  Main Responsibilities :
* Assisting an information manager related to data collection and regulations
* Updating database periodically 

Requirements :
* Male/Female
* Graduates from reputable universities, preferably from Sociology, Anthropology, International Relations or Economics major with 2 years experience on similar research project, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
* Have the ability to collect and manage statistical data on Regional Development
* The ability to operate Statistical Software is advantage
* Able to work under pressure
