Indonesia untuk Penanggulangan Kemiskinan (MAMPU) Program purpose is to
build broad-based networks and inclusive coalitions led by strengthened
women's and gender-interested organisations, and parliamentarians in order
to influence government policies, regulations and services, and in selected
private sector arenas, to improve the access of poor women to critical
services. MAMPU Program is currently seeking the following position :
Position : Computer /Internet Technician
Location : Jakarta, MAMPU Office
Report to : Operations Manager
Duration : Long Term

Overall responsibilities :
Reporting to the Operations Manager (OP), the Computer / Internet Technician
is responsible to providing computer technical services to the MAMPU
Program. This includes installing and maintaining computerc, server, lan,
etc. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will
ensure that MAMPU Program has access to the right technology. The
technology is accurate and up to date and the team is well informed, formed
and trained in a timely and appropriate manner. Also the vendors and
suppliers are well identified in accordance with the procedures and
guidelines laid out in the MAMPU Program Operations Manual.
Specific responsibilities :
- Ability to design and administer an interactive internet communication
system is desired
- Manage internal software for development projects in support of MAMPU
Program
- Proficiency in operating network administration, telecommunication
facilities, utilizing network devices such as IP telephony and multifunction
machineries
- Ability to serve as a resource on technology, provide guidance to
MAMPU's team on integrating appropriate and sustainable technologies into
the program
- Knowledge of website development, programming language content
management system for website.
- Proficient in using and administrating the internet and social media
such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, in order to amplify messages to reach a
broader audience
- Ability to serve as troubleshooter for technical problems
- Identify, research and reports on promising, innovative technologies
that support MAMPU's Program and partners
Qualifications:
- Technical Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or
related subject
- Microsoft Information Technology knoledge required
- Minimum five (5) years experience working on technology
- Experience working or consulting on large technology projects highly
desired
- Ability to work with civil society organizations and computer vendors
- Advanced problem solving skills; must be able to analyze work, think
innovatively and introduce new concepts
- Ability to provide technical advice on IT usage to MAMPU's Team and
partners
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written (especially for
non-technical audiences), and via online mediums
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Experience developing web technologies could be an asset
