Social Media Officer - Plan Indonesia Vacancy

Plan Indonesia is looking for a dynamic Indonesian national to fill the
position of:

                                            Social Media
Officer ( Fixed Term )
(
Jakarta Based )

Responsible for :

·         Ensures Plan Indonesia is visible and activite on
Plan social media accounts

·         Source and edit and upload content – text, image
and video – to populate Plan social media accounts

·         Monitor web and social media landscape for
opportunities for Plan to contribute and for threats to Plan’s reputation.

·         Monitor CO web pages to ensure content is
up-to-date and properly formatted.

·         Works with the Communications Specialist (Press) to
refine and update website content, in particular covering Plan’s programmes/
projects, strategy and successes in Indonesia

·         Keeps an overview of developing trends in web
content delivery and social media and keeps the Communications Manager
appraised of such trends

·         Acts as an ambassador for Plan’s web content and
social media activities, promoting them both inside and outside the
organisation


Requirements:
·         Bachelor’
degree in Web Design or any relevant background

·         At least 3 years’ experience in writing for,
editing and maintaining web site

·         Experience of using social media or managing online
communities

·         Experience or interest in the development sector is
desirable

·         Experience of digital camera handling, still and video
editing is preferred

·         Ability in written English
·         Energetic,
communicative, initiative & self motivated
·         Good
writing skill
·         Able
to work under pressure and meet deadline
