POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

1. Title: SAN- CoC (Sustainable Agriculture Network - Chain of Custody) Coordinator, Asia Pacific –
RA-Cert Division
Reports to: Agriculture Auditing Services Associate, Asia Pacific – RA-Cert Division
Location: Bali, Indonesia

Position Summary:
The SAN CoC coordinator will ensure timely and professional implementation of all SAN CoC audit processes in
the Asia Pacific region. S/he will be the main contact person for companies in Asia Pacific with regards to the
SAN CoC certification program of the Rainforest Alliance. In close coordination with his/her supervisor, s/he will
promote the certification program, cultivate relationships with companies, and expedite the audit processes.

Responsibilities:
    *   Provide information about the SAN CoC certification program and cultivate relationships with
farmers, companies and other stakeholders in Asia Pacific;
    *   Provide timely and professional execution of the SAN CoC audit services in Asia Pacific, including
review and approve audit applications, develop audit budgets, provide quotations to clients, develop
service agreements and audit plans, coordinate audit logistics, select qualified auditors, and review
audit reports;
    *   Ensure complete tracking of the audit engagements and recording in data management system;
    *   Administer and handle grievances, appeals and suggestions with regards to the audit processes by
clients, staff or other parties;
    *   Apply the quality systems as required by Sustainable Farm Certification, Intl. and RA-Cert;
    *   Act as auditor on selected audits;
    *   Perform presentations and attend meetings as needed;
    *   Provide periodic progress reports;
    *   Develop strong expertise in Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN) CoC policy and standard; and
    *   Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
    *   Degree in Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Forest Engineering or a related field;
    *   Minimum 3 years experience in in management system, traceability or agriculture supply chain ;
    *   Previous experience in agricultural and/or forestry certification scheme is preferred;
    *   Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and general working
knowledge of the Internet and web-based skills);
    *   Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
    *   Creative, energetic with outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to relate to farmers, NGOs and
companies across various cultures; and
    *   Strong organizational skills with high level of attention to detail.

Location: Denpasar, Bali - Indonesia

Position Summary:
Forest Management and Verification Services Coordinator will be responsible for providing FM and Verification
services and to support the sale and development of the market for Rainforest Alliance FM certification and
verification services to clients in the Asia-Pacific region. Primary focus will be on FSC FM, CW, Carbon and
Legality Verification. S/he will assist Forest Certification and Verification Services Associate in managing FM
clients portfolio in the region through coordination of local representatives and partners, but will mainly focus and
have responsibility to manage and develop the FM certification and verification services in Asia-Pacific region.

Responsibilities:
    *   Receive and respond to FM certification and verification services inquires from current and potential clients;
    *   Receive and follow-up on FM applications for certification;
    *   Provide support to Rainforest Alliances’ Forestry Management (FM) team and Certification Administration
Coordinator in certification services functions;
    *   Support Asia-Pacific office in conducting certification administrative functions;
    *   Schedule and conduct FM certification and verification services assessments and on-site audits as requested;
    *   Draft reports for assessments and audits performed;
    *   Perform certification task management functions for FM certification and verification services work;
    *   Write and present budgets to FM clients for assessments and audits;
    *   Record and track all FM and verification services tasks as assigned from service agreement through final
report review;
    *   Assist Forest Management and Verification Associate with the final certification contracting,
suspensions/terminations;
    *   Ensure that all tasks are done as required to comply with job completion requirements;
    *   Provide support for verification services work;
    *   Identify ways to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the FM and verification services in the
region within the context of FSC requirements and program goals and objectives;
    *   Assist in the development of materials and programs to train consultants to perform assessments and audits as
requested;
    *   Support the development and launch of new products and services (e.g., SmartStep, Controlled Wood);
    *   Assist in field testing of new products and further develop new FM products; and
    *   Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
    *   Degree in Forestry, Natural Resource Management or related field required; Advance degree
preferred;
    *   2 to 3 years work experience in forestry or related field preferred;
    *   Environmental management system or other auditor training experience preferred;
    *   Knowledge of Rainforest Alliance Certification and/or FSC certification a plus;
    *   Prior auditing experience, particularly having trained in ISO for Lead Auditor preferred;
    *   Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with other MS Office applications;
    *   Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
    *   Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia; other languages a plus; and
    *   Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
