MCA-Indonesia Vacancy: Manager, Participatory Land Use Planning (PLUP)

Millennium Challenge Account - Indonesia (MCA-Indonesia) is a trustee institution that represents the Government of Indonesia to implement a five-year (2013-2018) Millennium Challenge Corporation's Compact Program, a major pillar of the United States-Indonesia Comprehensive Partnership and the largest single pledge made by the United States to Indonesia to date.

MCA-Indonesia has three projects under Compact Program: Green Prosperity, Community-based Health and Nutrition to Reduce Stunting and Procurement Modernization. Our projects are designed, managed and implemented by Indonesians, for the Indonesian people. Our most important development work happens where it should be: the districts and the villages.

Our goal is to reduce poverty through economic growth. Our program is country-driven, reform-centered, and results-focused in order to maximize its effectiveness and long-term sustainability.

To reach the goal, MCA-Indonesia is seeking highly dynamic and deliverable-oriented professionals for a better Indonesia :

MANAGER, PARTICIPATORY LAND USE PLANNING (PLUP)

The PLUP Manager will report to the Associate Director of Participatory Land Use Planning (AD PLUP). The manager will be responsible supporting AD PLUP in implementing, overseeing and achieving stated objectives of the Participatory Land Use Planning (PLUP) Activity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.    Provides expert land use planning and land resources management guidance in all technical  and operational aspects of the PLUP Activity of the Green Prosperity (GP) Project.
2.    Plans, manages and supervises the completion of technical, legal, institutional, financial and operational analysis as needed to determine the final scope of PLUP activities including detailed budgeting and implementation planning.
3.    Plans, manages and supervises the preparation of the Terms of Reference and estimated budget needed to contract the PLUP implementation consultant and other consultants that may be necessary to support successful implementation of the PLUP Activity.
