Consultant
on Digital Media Content
For the
National Nutrition Communication Campaign

Introduction — The Government of Indonesia, with the support of
MCA–Indonesia, is implementing a National Nutrition Communication Campaign
(NNCC) through IMA World Health (IMA), as part of the Community Based Health
and Nutrition Project to Reduce Stunting (CHNP).
NNCC focuses on community–based social and behavior
change communication (SBCC) that involves simultaneous bottom–up and top–down
approaches that reinforce and saturate the various social levels and groups of
stakeholders. The program also addresses the threat of childhood stunting by
influencing social norms for infant and young child feeding, hygiene and
healthcare practices. NNCC’s objectives are to:
- Increase awareness and understanding of the causes, symptoms, long–term implications, and prevention of childhood stunting among parents, community members, Ministry of Health (MOH) personnel, government officials, and the general public.
- Gain commitment from a broad array of stakeholders in the public and private sectors to tackle the problem of childhood stunting.
- Foster individual and community behavior change related to health and nutrition among parents, other community caregivers, and MOH personnel who deliver community health/nutrition services.
The NNCC is implementing multiple communication
channel strategy which employs interpersonal and group communication as well as
mass and digital media. While the digital campaign components has shown
considerable progress in the last two years, there is an urgent need to
strengthen the digital component in the new phase of the NNCC.NNCC has managed
integrated approach of social media campaign through Gizitinggi web site,
Facebook (@gizitinggi), twitter, Youtube channel and Instagram.
For the above purpose, IMA proposes to engage a
digital media content consultant to support the NNCC team in conducting
daily management of the social medias. The consultant will provide
required support for NNCC under the overall guidance of the BCC Specialist and
Team Leader.
Roles and Responsibilities —
- Gathering necessary information through secondary data, already available content from reliable media and sources, and interview with various resources persons and experts.
- Regular daily content and message development for the various digital platforms such as website gizitinggi.org, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Daily content and message updating as the campaign progresses.
- In collaboration with the NNCC advertising agency, campaign consultant and graphic designer, develop creative digital media contents including but not limited to infographic, meme, banner ads, photos stories.
- Documenting and organizing news, articles and other media products resulted from the NNCC media engagement activities.
- In collaboration with BCC specialist, develop and evaluate monthly editorial plan for the digital media campaign.
- Collect data, analyze and report on the progress and achievement of the NNCC digital media campaign and progress and achievements
- Support development of the NNCC quarterly report, particularly on social media campaign section
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in communication, journalism, visual/design communication, knowledge management, medical school (sarjana kedokteran, not necessarily medical doctor), public health.
- Excellent writing skill both in Indonesian and English.
- Experience in journalism, publishing or technical writing.
- Indonesian native speaker with excellent English fluency.
- Able to produce high quality translation from English to Indonesian and vice versa
- Strongly familiar with social media analytic tools such as Google analytic, FB insight, Twitter analytic and Instagram.
- Highly familiar with social media promotion tools such as FB Ads, Twitter Ads and Instagram Ads

Period of Performance: The
position of Consultant on Digital Media Content is on
contract basis for a period of August 28, 2017 – February 28, 2018.
