Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik (Save the Children Indonesia) is changing
for the better. We've begun to build a national organisation that aims
to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in
Indonesia. To this end, SC Indonesia has been designated
as a “Prospect Member”. As ‘Prospect Member’ Indonesia has been
identified as part of the next way of new member development, which
focusses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in
strategic middle income countries. Indonesia has been authorised
by member ballot to start fundraising locally as a first step towards
building a financially sustainable local organization. Future work will
also involve developing a strong local governance structure and building
key partnerships with local government, the
private sector, local civil society among others. Success of the pilot
phase will set the Indonesia on a pathway to full membership. We are
currently seeking to fill the following position:
FIELD MANAGER -
NTB
1 position, based in
Lombok Utara

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Field Manager NTB will lead all activities and operation of Save the Children in NTB Province.
Programmes in NTB consist of Basic Education, Early Childhood
Care and Development includes future thematic opportunity based out of
our office in Lombok Utara, NTB.
Programme implementation duties include ensuring all program
activities are implemented according to plan and at a high-level of
quality; all reporting and planning is completed in a timely manner and
at a high-quality; all communications are completed
in a timely and accurate manner; we coordinate well with key external
stakeholders; all child safeguarding controls are enforced; and
financial and administrative management adheres to Save the Children and
donors policies, regulations, and good practices.
The Field Manager NTB will also lead on program planning and ensure we
advocate with key government stakeholders to achieve positive change
using evidence from our program work as the basis. S/he will represent
Save the Children in NTB and support program
development and emergency preparedness and response. The position will
require travel to field locations and support for hosting donor visits.
