ABOUT C-SAVE INDONESIA
C-SAVE Indonesia is a network of civil society organisations collaborating to address violent extremism in Indonesia, the region and globally. To materialise the cooperation between the government and the society, Indonesia civil society organisations agreed to develop a national network called Indonesia Civil Society Against Violent Extremism (C-SAVE) to facilitate and support the emergence of innovative initiatives which will act as catalyst and provide a platform for multi-stakeholder collaboration addressing violent extremism at the local, national, and international levels.

MISSION To boost the development of civil society organisations national network countering violent extremism in Indonesia, the region and globally, by (1) enhancing synergy dan collaboration with the government, higher education institutions, the media, and community based organisations; (2) spurring the development of innovative local initiatives and best practices; (3) boosting partnership with international community for wider impacts; (4) and thriving evidence and research based development for policy change and programmatic strategy.

PROGRAM APPROACH
C-SAVE relies its strategic measures on five integrated program approach, including:
- Prevention
Prevention of violent extremism in society becomes the main agenda of C-SAVE considering the depth and breadth of the challenges facing Indonesia.
- Enabling Constructive State Responses
The government’s role in the handling violent extremism becomes important when policies, law enforcement and government agencies performance are very influential on the creation of a conducive environment.
- Disengagement in rehabilitation and post release programming
Intervention through disengagement of the terrorist inmates inside prison and post-release is an integrated strategy to counter violent extremism.
- Narrative Alternative
Development of alternative narrative becomes important in penetrating the narratives promoted by extremist groups as part of their recruitment and propaganda strategies.
- Scientific Base
C-SAVE will develop sustainable scientific researches and studies dedicated to policy direction, national strategy and field implementation for maximum impact expected.
SCOPE OF POSITION
Name of Position: Operation Manager
Report Directly to: Executive Director
Collaborate with: Program Officers & Assistants, Finance Manager & Officer, C-SAVE member and partner organizations
Job purpose
The overall purpose for this role is to ensure that operations run smoothly, in a safely manner and in complete compliance with organizational and donor rules and regulations.
Main Function
- Ensuring that organization-wide, legal, and regulatory requirements are met and risk is properly mitigated;
- Manages policies and procedures, ensuring that they are up-to-date, understood by all stakeholders, and are optimized to ensure the easiest and clearest administrative experience;
- Ensures that all staff, partners, and affiliates are safe and secure at every point in their relationship with C-SAVE;
- Delivers logistics, resources, and infrastructure that everyone needs to do their jobs well;
- Organizes, manages and oversees the HR, Logistics, Security, IT and Administration;
- Provides direct authority in C-SAVE office management, deputizes, when appropriate, for the Executive Director in his/her absence;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent;
- 5 years’ experience in administrative positions, including developing organizational policies, managing and training people of other cultures on, preferably in a development-oriented field;
- Fluent in English (reporting language);
- Experience working for an NGO, have previously served in a similar role
- Strong spreadsheet and data analysis skills (Microsoft Office, especially Excel and other informatics methods in managing companies’ resources)
- Commitment to working in a conflict transformation organization and flexible to respond to dynamic situations,
- Dynamic, motivated and flexible leader with creative problem-solving skills,
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
