THE POSITION
LOCATION: UBUD, BALI
We
are currently seeking an innovative and motivated person for the
position of Senior Program Officer to assist the Director of Wonder
Women Eastern Indonesia in leading the transition period to the new
phase of the program.
The Wonder Women Eastern
Indonesia program is a network of entrepreneurs who sell clean-energy
technologies in and around their communities. The award-winning program
also provides a suite of training and support to help the entrepreneurs
succeed.
The Senior Program Officer will
assist the Director in managing the program in the current locations and
in designing and implementing the next phase of the program for which
funding has already been secured.
This is an
exciting role with high levels of autonomy, suitable for an innovative
individual with a strong track record of delivering results.
REQUIREMENTS
- 6 years professional experience - a combination of development and private sector preferred
- Experience in either last-mile distribution or livelihood or economic empowerment or management consulting projects
- Experience in managing teams of at least 10 people
- Excellent writing skills
- Fluency in excel, power point and very strong analytical skills
- Impact and data focused. Must be very comfortable with numbers
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as economics, business management or social studies. Master’s degree preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the program at the HQ and provide operational supports to the field offices
- Implement Technology Distribution Program in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) and assist the Director in designing the new phase of the Wonder Women Program
- Supervise data collections in program areas including area report card, consolidation form, SOS inventory
- Work with the MnE team and Database staff to collect and analyse data and evidence to guide decision making
- Provide training and necessary supports to the field staff in implementing the program to achieve the goal and objectives of the program
- Assist the Director of Wonder Women in developing strategies for Wonder Women recruitment and retention, incentives, reward, and recognition schemes, sales and marketing, training, location, product mix and pricing.
- Monitor budgets for each location and develop and improve systems to ensure efficient and effective operations of the program
- Work with the field team located across multiple locations in Indonesia to achieve the agreed targets/indicators of the program
- Manage relationships with donors, government officials, vendors and local partners
- Prepare and submit high quality reports.
