The

GIZ Office Indonesia is seeking one qualified Indonesian candidate for the

Responsibilities
The incumbent supports the correct functioning of the
GIZ financial administration and accounting system in line with the
respective GIZ guidelines and standard procedures - Support implementation of a smooth functioning accounting system of the GIZ office/projects
- Ensure that the provided services are done correctly according to GIZ Financial and Accounting Guidelines and to standard procedures for project accounting systems
Within
this context, she/he fulfils the following tasks
Tasks
- Verify incoming invoice, clarify undisputed items (quantities, agreed prices for products or services/contract)
- Verify of documents in accordance with regulations and completeness of the documents
- Prepare vouchers according to cost centres/cost categories and/or accounts
- Updating the Obligo in SAP
- Updating/maintaining the Contract/Procurement Files
- Calculating the tax amounts for consultant/consulting invoices
- Verify incoming travel cost settlement with the travel regulation and send the information to traveller
Other
Duties/Additional Tasks
- Immediately report all problems concerning finance rules and regulations
- Maintain filing for Financial Section and keep information confidential
- Assist in and/or carry out other tasks, as assigned
- Undertake further job training related to her/his position and duties, if required. Special training programs shall be identified and selected jointly with the GIZ Management
- Provide advice, guidance and training on financial and accounting matters to the project staffs
Required qualifications, competences and experience
Formal Education
- At least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field;
Professional Experience
- At least 1 year of work experience in a similar position;
- Have experience in Accounting and Finance
Other Qualifications
- Proficiency in all MS-Office application, internet;
- Good working knowledge of telecommunication systems (Phone, fax, email).
- Should be proactive and self-motivated
- Able to deal with people at all levels professionally
- Fluent (speaking and writing) in English
- Thorough knowledge of GIZ-instruments and procedures will be an advantage
