Main Purpose

Medical-technically support MoH and other partners in their provision of medical care to patients; assist in their epidemiological surveillance and community health related activities, based on updated medical knowledge, country’s protocols, values, universal hygiene, and infection prevention and control standards in management of Covid-19 pandemic response in Indonesia. Liaise with health authorities and other stakeholders in coordination and collaboration for Covid-19 outbreak response.

Accountabilities

•       Ensure strong commitment to work in partnership with MoH and other stakeholders in Covid-19 pandemic response of the country •       Ensure understanding of consistent case definitions and data recording of Covid-19 by healthcare workers of MoH and other partners •       Provide technical training to MoH and other partners particularly in infection prevention and control and Personal Protective Equipment •       Apply medical knowledge and skills in supporting healthcare workers in their screening, consultation, diagnosis, investigation, referral and  preventive health education of patients in the Covid-19 pandemic •       Ensure consistency in visiting Puskesmas and other health facilities for providing technical supports •       Ensure consistency in visiting communities, for providing technical support •       Support in ordering medicines and PPE •       Liaise with MSF logistic in support to the need of MoH and other parters in waste management and environmental sanitation •       Actively participate in collection of situational updates, analysis of epidemiological data in quality, and preparing infographics or share-points for the sitreps •       Manage the staff/ team under her/his direct responsibility according to MSF HR policies and procedures, supervising the performance and organizing work schedules. Supervise the health of directly supervised staff and necessarily report to Deputy Medical Coordinator/ Medical Coordinator.

	Requirements
Education		Medical Doctor degree with desirable Public Health certificate/ work experience
Experience		2-year experience minimum as a Medical Doctor or in clinical work (can be within medical training). Desirable in Public Health certificate/ work experience, tropical medicine, or infectious diseases, general practice or general medicine.
Languages		Mission language essential. Local language desirable.
Knowledge		Essential computer literacy (word, excel)
