Oxfam in Indonesia Job Vacancy - Partnership Finance Officer (INT9506)

What we are looking for

We are looking for Partnership (Grant) Finance Officer who will responsible for providing all-round financial management, monitoring and capacity-building support to all existing Oxfam partners (around 20 current partners), to develop an effective financial process that is in line with general accounting principal and in compliance with Oxfam and grant donor-specific financial guidelines.

 

 

Experience Knowledge and Competencies

  • Minimum 3 years of Financial management experience including budgeting, analytical, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant (accounting/finance)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • External audits experience along with knowledge of audit observations and management letters.
  • Experience in supporting partners (NGOs/CBOs) on financial management, sub-grant and sub-contract management
  • Strong numeracy skills, attention to details and strong computer literacy, with proven experience of computerized accounting packages. Strong proven experience in using Excel spreadsheets.
  • Strong presentation skills to deliver financial management induction and capacity building trainings.
  • Flexibility to work under pressure and in response to changing needs. Ability to work within minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills in Indonesia and English, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel to project locations.
  • Commitment to Oxfam’s overall aims, objectives and values including commitment to diversity and promoting gender equity in all aspects of work.
  • Strong team-building and motivational skills
