Country Offices and projects work data-based, in strong cooperation and actively use new technologies and digital innovations in all areas of business. In this way, we provide support throughout trainings and expert knowledge to the end-user¹, Digitalization Partner increase the efficiency of all processes and the effectiveness of service provision in compliance with GIZ rules and local regulations. The DiPa2 has access to specialists such as IT partners of our divisions, DIGITS employees at our division of Global IT Services. They ensure an essential link3 between the field structure and headquarters and are ambassadors of modern working methods and new technology. This function is permanent (full time, 1 Full-Time-Equivalent) estimated for "C" office⁴.

 The GIZ Office Indonesia is seeking 1 (one) qualified Indonesian candidate for the following position:

 

Digitalization Partner

(Job Title in SAP: Digital Partner)

 

A.  Responsibilities

The areas of responsibilities are as followed:

Digital Transformation – Digital Literacy and Security – Data Protection – Information & Documentation Management - Cloud Applications – Internal IT Processes – GDPR.

For the above-mentioned areas, the Digitalization Partner is the Focal Point for the Country Office and Projects.

 

B.  Tasks

o  Provides consultation to end-users on digital transformation on the broad sense.

o  Coordinates with HQ about digital practices and communicates them to end- user.

o  Provides feedback to HQ about local practices within their areas of duties.

o  Advises on the practices of their area of duties to end-user.

o  Advises end-user on new tools and platforms as per their requirements and compliant with their areas of duty and supports in the ToRs.

o  Translates DIGITS recommendations into presentations and decision papers for end-users⁵.

o  Provides consultation to end-users on local privacy laws.

o  Coordinates with the Information Security Officer on common areas related to ISMS.

o  Getting to know new digital solutions, ongoing networking, and exchange with Digits/Global IT Services.

o  Provides training on cloud applications for end-users.

o  Provides an onboarding of new staff on digital aspects (Information Security Awareness) to end-users.

o  Create content for multi-channel communication.

o  Consulting on the compliant use of the central document management systems (OpenText, DMS/Microsoft 365) for end-users.

o  First point of contact relating to information that is subject to retention for end- user.

o  First point of contact for basic data protection, as well as the data protection regulations on-site and communicates this comprehensibly for end-user.

o  Knowledge of GIZ Social Media guideline.

o  Strengthening the capacity for digital innovation.

o  Provides support depending on technical expertise (area of duty).

 

C.  Required qualifications, competences and experience

 Qualifications

• At least a bachelor’s degree in related field

Professional Experience

• At least 3 (three) years of professional experience in related field
• Basic knowledge of GDPR.
• Basic knowledge of Information Security
• You have skills in training / education, communication and change management.
• You have advanced SharePoint and workflow skills.
• You have a basic technical understanding and a good feel for trends and developments in the digital sector.
• Technical knowledge in dealing with OpenText-DMS and IDA / Office 365 as well as organizational knowledge of the organizational structure and the processes on site are an advantage.

Other Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia both written and spoken
• You have strong analysis, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• You express yourself purposefully and enjoy presenting and moderating.
• You have knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
• You are a team player.
• You have good prioritization skills, to balance key priorities.
