Job title: Fundraising Officer

Reporting to: Director  

Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week with occasional overtime as needed. Overtime is compensated by adhering to PUSPADI’s Employee Regulation.

Location: Denpasar with occasional travel in Bali and outside Bali.

About the Job:

Based at the Annika Linden Centre in Bali, Puspadi Bali Foundation operates on funding raised through grants, Corporate Social Responsibility, sponsorships and fundraising to provide programs on rehabilitation, education, empowerment and advocacy for persons with physical disabilities, with focus areas in Bali and east Indonesia. The Fundraising Officer has a dynamic role focusing on partnership building with all stakeholders and fundraising efforts to support the organization’s vision, mission and its programmes.

Puspadi Bali’s fundraising efforts include, but are not limited to:
a. Proposal writing, crowdfunding and sponsorship / partnership,

b. Organizing fundraising events and programs,

c. Meetings, presentations, and networking to strengthen and establish new connections with donors and supporters.

The role requires a person with specialised skills in communications, public relations, and fundraising work, and who is experienced at dealing with high level stakeholders and government using multiple offline and online communication channels.

Key responsibilities & duties

1.       Develop and implement fundraising action plans e.g. fundraising calendar, plan/strategy, budget plan, M&E plan;

2.       Identify and suggest fundraising opportunities;

3.     Build partnerships with NGOs, the Government of Indonesia, donor organizations, businesses and hotels/resorts in Bali and abroad to raise more support through sponsorships, donations and program partnerships;

4.       Produce high-quality communications, promotional and marketing materials e.g. proposal, presentations, newsletters;

5.      Develop and maintain relations with local, national and international journalists, as well as explore good media/public relations opportunities for publication and demonstrate the success of the organization’s work;

6.       Undertake financial management including planning, forecasting and reporting of fundraising by working closely with the finance team;

7.       Organizing PUSPADI Bali’s social media platforms, reporting and distributing financial and traffic statistics across all digital media platforms.

Academic qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in economics, marketing, communications, business or related field.

Requirement work experience and skills

1.       Minimum 3 years of work experience in marketing/business/fundraising,

2.       Ability to utilise MS Office programs, email and other design software including Canva,

3.       Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player,

4.       Thorough knowledge and familiarity of social media and web analytics,

5.       Strong communication and presentation skills demonstrated in a maximum two-minute video along with a CV and Cover Letter ,

6.       Good time management and organizational skills,

7.       Highly motivated and creative individual,

8.       English proficiency.
