Chemonics International
Inc. seeks specialists for the anticipated ASEAN Connectivity through Trade
and Investment (ACTI) project, funded by the United States Agency for
International Development (USAID). The project will provide technical
assistance, training, materials, and other resources as needed to accelerate
the implementation of select components of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)
Blueprint. The overall development goal of this project is to strengthen ASEAN
integration by expanding capacity in trade, investment and human capital to
enable ASEAN to drive its realization of ASEAN Economic Community and
integration into the global economy.

We
are seeking long-term and short-term technical specialists who have
experience  in or more of the following
technical sectors:
1. ·     ASEAN Single Window 
2.       Trade Standards Harmonization
3. ·        SME Development and Capacity Building
4. ·        Trade Information Communications Technology and Regional Broadband
Capacity Expansion
5. ·         Clean Energy and Renewable
Energy
6. ·        Energy Efficiency Standards and Labeling
7. ·        Training and Capacity Building
8. ·        Communications and Outreach
9. ·        Finance and grants management
10. ·        Monitoring and Evaluation

General qualifications:
·        Advanced degree in a relevant field required
·        Minimum 8 years of experience with trade, customs, SME development
or economic development programming, including on donor-funded projects
·        Experience in program design, leadership, and implementation
·        Work or consultancy experience with ASEAN
·        Strong communications skills, including experience in engaging
multiple stakeholders and working across cultures
·        Competency in preparing and presenting concise and effective
reports in English
