Save the Children International Vacancy: Human Resources Manager - based in Jakarta (re-advertised)

Save the Children has worked in Indonesia since 1976 to promote health and nutrition, education, child protection, livelihoods, and emergency preparedness and response. Save the Children has grown enormously in the country and today we operate in 13 provinces across Indonesia. Our program in Indonesia has made significant progress at the national policy level. Currently Save the Children immediately need for a senior experienced staff to be part of our Management team and will be based in Jakarta.

The position we are looking for:

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (code: HRM Jkt) - based in Jakarta

As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Manager of HR shares in the overall responsibility for the direction and coordination of the Country Office. The Manager of HR in his/her capacity is responsible for Human Resource administration and the direction, supervision, capacity-building and evaluation of staff, in both emergency and development settings.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Recommended a minimum of 3 years of management experience in a corporate or an NGO environment, including experience in the development and implementation of strategic and operational HR plans through a number of planning cycles
* Post-Graduate qualifications in Personnel Management or Business Administration (MBA) with specialisation in Human Resources
* Demonstrated Knowledge of Government of Indonesia labour law
* Ability to plan and organize a substantial workload that includes complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities in both development and emergency contexts
* Demonstrated credibility with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of an organization
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead during through periods of change
* Leadership skills, including the ability to supervise, delegate, coach and mentor both individuals and teams.
* Analytical, with demonstrated ability to make difficult decisions
* Ability to coach, mentor, delegate appropriately and provide developmental guidance to supervised staff
* Team building skills
* Willingness and ability to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies
