The Peace Corps is an independent U.S government agency established by President John F. Kennedy in 1961. It is a non-political and non-religious organization that seeks to promote peace and friendship among people of different nationalities and cultures. Peace Corps Volunteers in Indonesia teach English classes in high schools.
Basic Function of Position
Peace Corps Indonesia is seeking an individual for the position of Security Guard and Watchman for the office and residences.
Qualifications Required
All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.
1. 1. Completion of secondary school is required. Previous military or police training is preferred.
2. 2. At least one year of experience in security field is preferred.
3. 3. Physically fit to meet requirements of the job.
4. 4. Basic Knowledge, speaking/reading/writing in English and Bahasa Indonesia are required. Language proficiency will be tested.
5. 5. Must be willing to work different shifts, must be able to complete necessary logbooks and write reports. Must be alert to unusual condition. Must be able to follow instructions.
6. 6. Must be able to operate motor cycle. Must have valid C driver’s licenses - copy of SIM C must be attached to the applications.
7. 7. Must be able to do Medical Check, Security Clearance and Basic Training for certain hours
