Vacancies in SurfAid International - Nias, Mentawai and Bima

SurfAid International is a
nonprofit organization working for healthy andresilient communities in remote areas connected to us through surfing. Withthe head office in Medan, the community programs
are mainly run in Mentawaiand Nias.  In 2013 SurfAid is expanding its program to eastern Indonesia, starting
with a small tram in Bima. Currently we are looking for dynamic team players to
join us.


FINANCE OFFICER (1 POSITION IN NIAS, 1 POSITION IN MENTAWAI)
Responsible for accurate
accounting practices and reporting to support progam activities. Supervising 1
Finance Assistant, Finance Officer ensures that SurfAid Finance Policies and
Procedures are implemented consistently. 

Minimum requirements:
Minimum bachelor degree with Accounting background
and at least 4 years experience in Finance, preferably with
experience in Non Government Organization,
Experience in staff management (small team),
Good analytical skills,
Experience working with payroll and asset/inventory
management,
Familiarity with MYOB and T-Pay softwares is
a plus
Proven track record of transparency and
accountability

FINANCE ASSISTANT (1 POSITION IN MENTAWAI, 1 POSITION IN BIMA)
Reporting to
Finance Officer, Finance Assistant is in charge of document review and payment
processing including the data entry to accounting system.

Minimum requirements:
Minimum bachelor degree with Accounting background
and at least 2 years experience in Finance
Good analytical skills and good detail
orientation
Good sense of transparency and accountability
Familiarity with MYOB is prefereed

HEALTH PROGRAM OFFICER  (1 POSITION
IN NIAS, 1 POSITION IN BIMA)
Reporting to Team Leader, Health Program
Officer is responsible for health promotion program implementation, including to give assistance in villages and target communities

Minimum requirements:
Bachelor degree in Public
Health, Community Development with 2 years of relevant work experience
Familiar with issues
related tomother & child health  and community development.
Strong communication and
facilitation skills as well as diplomacy, tact and negotiation skills.
Sensitivity to the needs
and priorities of different sectors of the community.
Knowledge
of the local wisdom and areas and capablilityto ride a motorbikeis
preferred

LOGISTIC ASSISTANT (1 POSITION IN BIMA)
Responsible to provide administration
and logisticssupports. Areas of work will include:
procurement process, transportation and accommodation bookings, assets and
inventory management.

Minimum requirements:
Bachelor degree with more than 2
years professional experience.
Good understanding of
administration, procurement and logistic principles.
Proven ability to plan, manage
and monitor the effective use and safekeeping of fixed assets and financial
resources.
Ability to speak English is
preferred
