Yayasan Plan International Indonesia
is presently implementing its country strategic 4 (CS 4) covering fiscal year
2017 to 2022, where the country objective has been
defined as “to identify and facilitate
the removal of obstacles that prevent children from enjoying their rights and
participating fully in Indonesian society”. The organisation’s purpose is to “strive for a just world that
advances children’s rights and equality for girls”. This goal will be
achieved by providing technical support and implementing quality programs and
projects through partnership. An effective and efficient communications
strategy is a must for Plan Indonesia to share the outcomes of these projects
to influence different actors, specially state authorities and to position Plan’s
profile within and outside at different levels – starting from community, sub district, district to national,
regional and international levels.

Responsibilities:
KRA 1 : Ensures Plan Indonesia’s human resource
management and organizational development are efficient, effective and gender
equal, building people’s knowledge, skills, attitude and practice aligned with
Plan’s corporate systems, procedures, program strategy, purpose, values and
behaviour. Indicators for
success: HR-OD policy and procedures are in place and followed, in line with best practices and
Plan global policy, to enable maximum efficiency,
effectiveness and gender equality. Provision of
effective support systems, enabling the smooth operation of a gender equal HR-OD. Integrity of and continuous improvement to the HR-OD policies, procedures and systems in order to maintain the
highest standard. Innovative and effective HR-OD solutions for new and developing organizational
talent needs are provided. Optimal use of
human resources following Plan’s policy
and embedding gender equality are
ensured.
KRA 2 : Ensures Plan Indonesia’s IT systems provide
efficient and effective communication and data management for the organisation,
linking with Plan’s corporate systems, including responsibility for developing
and strengthening staff capacity to operate and manage IT systems in all offices..
Indicators for success: IT policy and procedures is in place and followed, in line with best practices and
Plan global policy, to enable maximum efficiency of
our systems. Provision of
effective support systems, enabling the smooth operation of IT systems in Indonesia
is ensured. Integrity of and continuous improvement to the IT systems in order to maintain the
highest standard is ensured. Innovative and effective IT solutions for new and developing organizational needs
are provided. Optimal use of IT
resources following Plan’s policy is ensured.
KRA 3 : Ensures effective financial planning and
efficient financial management for Plan Indonesia that provides programs and
projects quality financial services, financial information and advice; Plan
management receives accurate financial reports to make informed decisions in
time. Indicators for
success: Budgeting
and planning is based on realistic, excellent and timely financial data;. Financial
reporting and cash management is accurate and in compliance with established
policy and procedures; Plan management is provided with accurate financial
information and report for making informed decision. Grants financial reporting and record keeping are
through, well maintained and accurate. Completion of financial due diligence of partner is
ensured as part of partner assessment process
KRA 4: Manages performance of Operations team and empower them to deliver
sustainable changes to the children and their communities in Indonesia.. Indicators for success: Team is communicated with clear and exciting
vision for the work of Plan Indonesia ensuring that each member of the team
fully understands outcomes which are expected of them and that they are aware
of the success criteria relating to their work. Ensured that own and team’s work is planned and organized in a way which will
meet the needs of colleagues within the organization in the most cost effective
manner possible. Team members are supported in a manner that
enable them to give their best e.g. by encouraging and praising good
performance, coaching, assisting staff to resolve performance problems,
providing resources, tools and equipment. Performance of team members
is monitored and reviewed, in particular, holding staff accountable for meeting
the success criteria and delivering any improvement goals which have been identified;
giving corrective feedbacks where required and taking decisive action in the
case of unsatisfactory performance. Plan’s value, principles and practices and commitment towards child
rights and child protection, and relevant mainstreaming activities are
considered and applied by all team members to achieve organizational outcomes.
Team members are adequately trained and developed for their roles e.g. by
analysing staff training needs, organizing the delivery of training or
coaching, coordinating the sharing of experience..
KRA 5 : Participate in the country
management team
(CMT) to provide effective leadership and
decision making.Indicators for success: Active participation in CMT meetings is
ensured, contributing significantly to decisions on policy
and strategic direction. Participation is open, cooperative,
proactive and productive. Support is extended to the team members across the organization to
achieve organizational outcomes. Policies and strategies of Plan International are incorporated in our
work as well as proposing, updating and implementing changes to existing
policies and strategies within Indonesia program. Plan Indonesia is represented at national and international meetings,
sharing experiences based on our program work. Contributions are ensured for budget setting and monitoring ensuring good
stewardship of financial resources and expenditure are authorized according to
financial policy. Learning is shared in the organization, supporting regular dialogue
between programs and teams.
Requirements:
Experience
Master’s
degree preferably in Business Administration/Operations Management. 5-7 years’ experience as Head of
Operations/Administration/ Finance in any reputed organization with demonstrated
ability to manage complex operations. At least five years in operation program
management. Experience
in managing admin and finance role. 10 years of experience in senior management position. Significant leadership experience
at senior management level in a growing organization; successful record in
developing and implementing operation program, Administration and finance
strategy with multiple stakeholders. Good understanding of the donor analysis and consumer
behavior in a changing society. Ability to travel up to 20 days annually, sometimes at
short notice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including
public speaking, policy development and fluent written/spoken English.
