 BACKGROUND                                                                                                                                  
Microentrepreneurship Awards
Launched in 2005, the Microentrepreneurship Awards program is an initiative aimed at raising awareness about the importance of micro-entrepreneurship and microfinance in supporting the financial inclusion and economic empowerment of low-income individuals. It also aims to highlight the important role micro-entrepreneurs play and contribute in their local economies; catalyze innovations among microfinance institutions (MFIs) that will lead to an increase in their outreach and their micro-entrepreneur portfolios; and to leverage awareness of policy makers within the government of Indonesia towards enabling a supportive environment for micro-entrepreneurs through a conducive set of regulations..
An integral part of the communication strategy and program outreach is gaining the ultimate visibility to expand information regarding the opening of CMA registration 2018-2019. Consequently, the program will have Road to CMA which a series of events to generate CMA registrations. The first Road to CMA program will be held in Surabaya. It is important for these events to be published in online media to ensure that the program's goal of reaching a total of 800 applicants can be achieved.. With that being said, the program team has determined that it would be necessary to include a Media Organizer that will be responsible to handle all media advocacy and mobilization efforts for the event.
 SCOPE OF WORK                                                                                                                             
Reporting directly to program’s Communications Officer, the organizer’s scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following:
Media Organizing for Road to CMA Event in Surabaya
·         Organize event coverage national online or print; and local media online or print.
·         Responsible to mobilize and ensure the attendance of the appointed media partners.
·         Monitor and capture the published publications to prove that the appointed media partners had completed their work.
DELIVERABLES                                                                                                                                   

·         Coverage on Road to CMA events in appointed local and national media (online and printed)
·         Attendance list of media partners
·         Media report

 TIME FRAME                                                                                                                                     
The Road to CMA in Surabaya will be held on Wednesday, 7 November 2018

All data and information received from MCI for the purpose of this assignment are to be treated confidentially and are only to be used in connection with the execution of these Terms of Reference.. All intellectual property rights arising from the execution of these Terms of Reference are assigned to MCI. The contents of written materials obtained and used in this assignment may not be disclosed to any third parties without the expressed advance written authorization of MCI.
