Title         :  WASH Program Officer

Base Location :  Palu, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia

Report to         :  WASH Program manager

Duration         :  ASAP until March 31st, 2019

JOB PURPOSE

The WASH program officer will assist the program manager on following up on day to day in Field Water, Sanitation, Hygiene promotion and Hygiene kits distribution activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

-          Assist in reviewing and finalizing the BoQs, drawings, technical specifications for WASH projects including (Water tank design & installation, latrine block design & installation, HP session design and conduct).

-          Assist & supervise partner technical team in producing technical WASH activates.

-          Assist the program manager on following up on Order Forms and ongoing procurements.. In addition of updating tracking the tracking tools.

-          Keeping track and proper filing, to all documents related to program including (activities tracking sheets, Signed MoUs, vendors technical evaluation).

-          Provide support the field regarding the weekly reports

-          Support the program manager in conducting Hygiene promotion trainings to support the partner staff.

-          Following up with HR on the ongoing staff recruitment.

-          Any other tasks delegated from his/her supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS 

-          Degree in civil, Environmental or Water engineering

-          Minimum 1 years of Engineering experience. Working in Humanitarian Organization in WASH department is highly desired.

-          Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, working with as a team member.

-          Strong initiative and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to teamwork and humanitarian principle

-          Ability to multitask with competing demands under tight deadlines and work under pressure.

-          Fully computer literate (Microsoft Office) and AutoCAD is a must and other engineering software knowledge is an asset.

-        Fluency in Bahasa (written and spoken), and English.
