Program Summary
In
partnership with
a Private Sector donor, Mercy Corps Indonesia will sustainably improve
livelihoods of Intermediate Service Providers (ISPs) and their micro
enterprises because of accessing bundled services. In close consultation
with
the donor and the relevant government authorities, Mercy Corps Indonesia
will
help facilitate access to bundled services (input market, advisory,
financial
and output market services) business training, mentoring, and business
development with a view to strengthening the institutional capacity of
each ISP.
Particular focus will be given to helping with business plans, building
business leadership, financial management, and marketing skills for each
ISP so
they can continue providing such services to other ISPs in the future.
The programme aims to help transform ISPs from yellow to green and where
possible,
to gold.
Program Coordinator - PROSIMEE
Subject
to funding approval from the donor, the Program Coordinator will be responsible
for overall coordination and implementation of PROSIMEE to identify the required
ISPs and micro-entrepreneurs, in close consultation with the donor. He/She will also be responsible to lead a
small Jakarta based team but also provide leadership to a larger provincial
team in Riau and the target districts. The Programme Coordinator is responsible
for providing strategic direction by way of strategic planning for the team
strategic engagement with the donor, relevant government authorities and other
stakeholders. Specifically, the Programme Coordinator is expected to establish,
strengthen and maintain a collaborative relationship with different value chain
actors in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, i.e.. business development services,
financial institutions, community business organizations to be able to
facilitate bundled services at the systems level, ultimately contributing to
economic empowerment of the ISPs.
Qualifications :
·
University
degree, preferably in social sciences, economics or business development;
·
More
then 4 years working as Program Coordinator with strong project management skills, including financial
management, supervision, and operational management skills;
·
More
then 4 years working in development programs with strong emphasis on
agriculture, business development services, entrepreneurship, and public
private collaboration;
·
Experiences
to build a relationship with different stakeholders;
·
Highly
skilled in people management, having good interpersonal skills and experience
in managing, motivating and mentoring teams;
·
Experience
in monitoring and evaluation of program outputs, outcomes and impact (familiarity with quantitative and
qualitative measurement methods);
·
Computers
skills with strong familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
·
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English,
with excellent English reporting writing skills.
