CRS has been supporting program activities in the Indonesia since
1957 and has long-standing relationships with the Government of Indonesia, the
Church and non-Church partners and communities throughout the country. The
Indonesia country program has a diverse funding base with projects in food
security and agricultural livelihoods, emergency preparedness and response
programs, disaster risk reduction and capacity building program for
partners.
CRS/Indonesia is
currently hiring for several positions to implement Health project and Livelihood
Recovery project in Lombok. All positions will be based in Lombok
and led by a Project Manager.
Summary Responsibilities of each position is as follow (this is
not an exhausted list of job description):
Project
Manager will manage, coordinate, and monitor project activities and
relationships with partners and other project stakeholders to assist the
achievement of the Health
project with cash intervention and Livelihood Recovery project objectives advancing Catholic Relief
Services’ (CRS) work serving the poor and vulnerable. Your project management
skills and knowledge of the program area will ensure that the CP delivers
high-quality programming and continuously works towards improving the impact of
this project.
Specific Qualifications for Education Officer:
·
Bachelor's
Degree required. Master’s Degree in the field of public health, economic,
social science International Development, International Management or Community
Development would be a plus
·
Minimum
of 5 years of work experience in project management, ideally working with
INGO/UN/Donor in managing health and nutrition sector, livelihood sector, and
cash-based programing.
·
Relevant
grant management experience, especially for USG or other public donor, a plus
·
Staff
supervision experience.
·
Experience
working with stakeholders at various levels and strengthening community
partnerships.
·
Ability
to contribute to the development of technical proposals, a plus.
·
Experience
analyzing data and contributing to evaluation reports.
·
Experience
using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
·
Familiar
with emergency market-based assessment tools and able to modify and customize
tools based on the local context.
·
Familiar
with small, micro and medium enterprises scheme.
·
Familiar
with basic immunization for children under 5 years old and health promotion
activity.
·
Familiar
with humanitarian standard, code of conduct, protection and gender principle
·
Familiar
with ICT/Comcare.
2. Livelihood
Project Officer
As
a member of the Livelihood and Recovery project team, you will monitor and
report on all project activities in support of Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS)
work serving the poor and vulnerable. Your thorough and service-oriented approach
will ensure that the project consistently applies best practices and constantly
works towards improving the impact of its benefits to those we serve.
Education and
Experience
·
University Degree in international development, economics, social
sciences, or related field, or equivalent work experience
·
Minimum 3 years of experience working within development or
humanitarian aid sectors
·
Experience managing project implementation and community-based
field teams
·
Excellent computer skills including strong competency in data
management and analysis with Excel, with Power BI, CommCare, RedRose, and other
ICT4D software preferred
·
Ability to work independently and flexibly to respond to needs as
they arise, but also to coordinate effectively as part of a team
·
Strong analytical, organizational, management, and leadership
skills
·
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
Preferred:

·
Experience in and technical knowledge of livelihood, markets-based
humanitarian programming and Livelihood recovery strongly preferred
·
Experience conducting market and needs assessments, beneficiary
registration, in-kind distributions, social mobilization, and monitoring and
evaluation in emergency situations preferred
·
Experience in working with grants funded by USAID and UN
Agencies preferred
·
Experience with capacity strengthening and partnership building

3. Health
Project Officer
As

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s
degree preferred in public health nutrition, nursing, midwifery or other
relevant health discipline. Candidates with a combination of a bachelor’s
degree and significant work experience also considered.
·
Minimum
of 3 years of work experience in project support. Experience in the field of community
health, nutrition and public health promotion program area and for an NGO would
be a plus.
·
Experience
in participatory action planning and community engagement
·
Experience
monitoring projects and collecting relevant data preferred
·
Experience
using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
·
Experienced
in conducting health and nutrition assessment including develop tools for
assessment.
·
Familiar
with humanitarian standard, code of conduct, protection and gender principle.
·
Familiar
with ICT/Comcare.
