SurfAid International is a nonprofit organization working towards healthy and resilient communities in remote areas connected to us through surfing.

are urgently looking for candidates with solid experience,
multi-tasking, resourceful and positive attitude for several positions
for Ehowu program (based in Nias).
The initial contract is one year with possible extension.
Field Operations Manager (FOM EHOWU)
Reports to Sr.. Program Manager and work with the Ehowu Support team as well as support team in Medan the all
non-program operations to ensure the supporting activities are well
managed and according to the standard operations procedures.
Minimum Qualifications;
· Bachelor degree from any fields
· Minimum 4 years’ experience in similar roles
· Strong leadership and good communication skills
· Capable to multitask and resourceful
· English or local language skill will be an advantage

Jr. Area Field Manager (JAFM EHOWU)
Reports to Sr. Program Manager to
provide front-line management support and staff leadership for
Community Development Officers. Working together to improve the quality
and effectively represent Surfaid in interactions with local government
(village and sub district level) and local government department (sub
district level), enabling close and constructive relationships.
Minimum Qualifications;
· Bachelor degree in Public Health or Economy, community based development, livelihoods, management, etc.
· More than 2 years experience in staff management in community development areas
· Good understanding of community development principles
· Ability to represent the organization at sub district level
· Diplomacy, tact and negotiating skill
· Experience in working in remote areas with basic facilities.
· English or local language skill will be an advantage

Watsan Engineer (WE EHOWU)
Reporting
to the Sr. Program Manager and supervise the Watsan Assistant, the
Watsan Engineer works with overall Ehowu Team in delivering high
quality, responsive and relevant programs, in line with needs, contracts
and development standards. He/she is responsible for providing
technical assistance to SurfAid’s partner communities by building clean
water and sanitation facilities and implementation of clean water and
sanitation activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree from engineering
· More than 4 years’ experience in Water & Sanitation and/or CLTS programs
· Strong leadership skills including project management skills, planning, monitoring and reporting.
· Proven experience and capacity to work with communities
· Diplomacy, tact and negotiating skills.
· Willing to travel to remote areas with limited access

Community Development Officer (CDO EHOWU)
Reporting
to Area Field Manager, the Community Development Officer is responsible
to implement programmatic activities and ensuring quality programs
through community facilitation and networking.
Minimum Qualifications:
· More than 3 years experience in community facility in issues of mother and child health, economic development or agriculture
· Good understanding of community development principles
· Able to work with flexible hours
· Able to travel to remote areas with limited access
· Local language knowledge/skills is preferred
