CARITAS INDONESIA, Diocesan Accompaniment initiative in developing Diocesan Caritas Accompaniment strategies in Indonesia based on 3-dimensional of Caritas (Identity, Structure and Context). Diocesan Accompanimen is one of the important components of the logical framework CARITAS INDONESIA 's that aims to "Develop and strengthen CARITAS INDONESIA as a socio-pastoral body of the BCI (Bishop’s Conferences of Indonesia-KWI) are able to work in a professional, sustainable, accountable, together with the network services of Caritas and develop a commitment to served who are poorest of the poor. "
Diocesan Accompaniment goal in order to support the process of achieving the overall goal, as CARITAS INDONESIA mentioned above are: “Strengthening the diocesan Caritas as a socio pastoral institution of The Diocese that are able to work in a professional, sustainable, accountable and committed with Caritas services network in order to serve the poorest of the poor”.
Therefore, through this initiative CARITAS INDONESIA invites the person who are committed and competent to joint the Diocesan Accompaniment Team of CARITAS INDONESIA.

Diocesan Accompaniment is to strive as much as possible the strengthening of the Diocesan Caritas service based (a structured, professional, accountable, clear and sustainable standardize) with a permanent foothold on the distinctiveness and autonomy of each Dioceses. Participatory approach with the advanced principle of flexibility and suitability/adjustment (TaylorMade approach) is the foundation of the methods to be used in the companionship of the Diocesan Caritas. The mechanisms developed in the Diocesan Accompaniment initiative is based on a holistic approach and comprehensive perspective in the Diocesan Caritas development
process based on 3-dimensional of Caritas (identity, structure and context)
§ Diocesan Accompaniment Officer responsible for administering all activities of the companionship of the Diocesan Caritas in Indonesia under CARITAS INDONESIA mainly service.
· Diocesan Accompaniment Officer responsible for developing the mechanisms and functions are integrated Diocesan Caritas Accompaniment with the other components of CARITAS INDONESIA strategy in achieving the overall
goal.
Location : To be based in Jakarta with frequent travel to project site.
Contract Period :
1 (one) year with possibility for extension depending on performance and the available fund for

Task
General
1. Responsible for integrating the three Dimensions of Caritas (identity, structure and context) in each line ministry of Caritas (Diocese).
2. Conduct periodic visits to Diocesan Caritas and met with key person of the Diocese (such as; The Bishop, Vikjend, the heads of the Commission, Diocesan Caritas Director and others ...) to assess the situation in the Dioceses and collect information useful to develop the most appropriate strategy/fit in the companionship of the diocese under the scheme/process/stages of the Diocesan Caritas Accompaniment framework, The process would run flexibly according to situations and conditions of the Diocesan Caritas(the main idea of “TaylorMade” approach).
3. To accompany Diocesan Caritas contextualized It’s values and basic principles of Caritas (Deus Caritas Est, Caritas in Veritate and other documents on the Catholic Social teaching) into each line ministry.
4. Facilitate, animation, coordination and cooperation with the Diocesan Caritas in order to develop the basic structure, find the focus of the service, create strategic plans, planning activities, promoting the development of a commitment-Voluntarism solidarity against those who are poor.
5. Facilitate the process of developing the knowledge, skills and capacity for each Diocesan Caritas staff, held within their own Diocese by CARITAS INDONESIA or outside CARITAS INDONESIA based on the uniqueness needs of each Diocesan Caritas.
6. Facilitate follow-up activities (development of knowledge, ability and capacity) that is described above with the companionship through Diocesan Accompaniment Initiative Fund schemes.
7. Coordination and monitoring to the implementation of Diocesan Accompaniment pilot project run
by the Diocesan Caritas.
8. Working from CARITAS INDONESIA offices (via e-mail, telephone, internet sessions and with other communication devices) in assisting and facilitating the companionship of the Diocesan Caritas staff.
9. Working in the Diocesan Caritas Office (during certain periods) to accompany and share knowledge with the Diocesan Caritas staff, based on the specific needs of each Dioceses (as far as needed).
Coordination
10. Develop mechanisms of cooperation and shared services in a healthy manner, both in the Diocesan Accompaniment Team, with other department/division within the scope of CARITAS INDONESIA, as well as with other resources outside of CARITAS INDONESIA.
11. Building a good and healthy relationship with all parties (stakeholders) within the framework of the Diocesan Caritas Accompaniment.
12. Building a good relationship with the structure and key person of The Diocesan Caritas (Director, assistant and others ...) and of the Dioceses Hierarkhi (The Bishop, Vicariat general ...).
13. Responsible for developing Diocesan Accompaniment framework contextualized withing Diocesan Caritas Accompaniment process.
14. Responsible for Diocesan Accompaniment activities and visits planning by coordination with the Diocesan Caritas.
15. Prepare and engage in any regular coordination meetings both in the Diocesan Accompaniment team nor any coordination meeting organized by CARITAS INDONESIA.
16. Periodically preparing the agenda 3-month, 6 months and annual coordination meeting with The Diocesan Caritas Director.
17. Coordination, information sharing, updates and meet periodically with coordinator/staff of the others unit/division/department of CARITAS INDONESIA who work in the same area of the Diocesan Caritas.
18. Coordinate all the different activities in each Diocese under the CARITAS INDONESIA ministry framework.
19. Developing good relationship with representatives of The Donors.
Reporting and updated information
20. Received updated information regularly (weekly/monthly) and give positive feedback to the development of programs that run by Diocesan Caritas.
21. Responsible to submitte update and report progress of the program regularly (weekly/monthly) to the Executive Director of CARITAS INDONESIA.
22. Actively gather information about resources available in every diocesan Caritas based on updates and information obtained through each visit.
23. Create a calendar update/activity plan together with the Diocesan Caritas.
24. Create and prepare reports/updates information every visit to the Diocese Charity
Others
25. Conducted every other office duties and obligations in accordance with the general duties and responsibilities of workers in CARITAS INDONESIA.
26. Undertake any other tasks given by the Director or Deputy Director of CARITAS INDONESIA.
Qualification
1. General knowledge about the structure of the Catholic Church Hierarchi and the environment.
2. Knowledge of the Chatholic Social Teaching (Deus Caritas Est, Caritas in Veritate and others documents).
3. Ability to work and good communicate with The Hierakhi of Catholic Church, like the Bishop, Vicariat General and the Diocesan Caritas.
4. Ability to adapt and sensitivity to capture local potential that can be developed.
5. Willingness and ability to apply the values and principles of Caritas in each line of Diocesan Caritas Accompaniment activities.
6. Knowledge and basic skills regarding to the code of conduct/ethics/standards of basic humanitarian work (such as: humanitarian law, the standard sphere, Inne standards, Do No Harm Principles etc).
7. Knowledge and basic skills to conduct assessment and social analysis.
8. Knowledge and ability to develop organization management (organizational and Community Development).
9. Knowledge and ability to develop project management (Programme Cycle Management) that contextualized into situation and local conditions, as well as proposal writing techniques.
10. Knowledge and general ability of cross-cutting issues (gender, disabilities, environment, local culture and sustainability).
11. Knowledge and ability to develop a synergistic network of humanitarian work and sustainabilities.
12. Knowledge and basic skills of administration, finance and reporting.
13. Willingness to travel extensively, live and help those who are poorest of the poor by taking primacy to the principle of professional services (as necessary).

1. Bachelor degree (S1) with at least 5 years work experience.
