Program Support Officer – Infrastructure Funding and Financing
Program Background
Kemitraan Indonesia Australia untuk Infrastruktur (KIAT) is a partnership between the Government of Indonesia and Government of Australia to support sustainable and inclusive economic growth through improved access to infrastructure for all people in Indonesia. KIAT works with government partners, multilateral development banks (MDBs) and civil society providing technical assistance to improve infrastructure policy, planning and delivery. KIAT also works with sub-national governments to improve the quality of infrastructure spending and planning.
Through its work with central and sub-national governments, KIAT is working towards 4 End-of-Facility Outcomes (EOFOs):
1. Improved policies and regulations for infrastructure development
2. High quality projects prepared for financing by GOI, MDBs or the private sector.
3. High quality infrastructure delivery, management, and maintenance by GOI
4. Infrastructure policies, design and delivery are more inclusive for women and people with disabilities.
The focus of KIAT is on the following areas: Water and Sanitation; Transport; Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI); and Infrastructure Funding and Financing (IFF). KIAT is also expanding its infrastructure activities in the areas of climate change, urbanization and private sector participation.

The Role
The Program Support Officer – Infrastructure Funding and Financing will provide professional support services for KIAT’s Infrastructure Funding and Financing unit. This includes support for liaising with relevant consultants and/or subcontractor staff in relation to operational and administrative support for effective management of activities, contracts and personnel, and meetings/workshops.

About You
- Relevant Degree in social science, administrative management, communication or any related study/major.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in administrative, operational and finance positions within the international development area.
- Excellent team working and interpersonal skills including dealing both directly and indirectly with government officials at various levels.
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications (data management skills a plus).
- Demonstrate ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Possess initiative, reliability, honesty, and attention to the details.
- Good English and Indonesian oral and written communication skills.

Remuneration
Successful Indonesian nationals will be engaged under a national contract in IDR and will be subject to Indonesian employment regulations and tax obligations.
