Finance Manager for RutgersWPF

Founded in 1987, RutgersWPF is aimed at improving reproductive health and ensuring reproductive rights in developing countries. RutgersWPF hasimplemented projects in Asia, Africa and Latin America. In 2005, RutgersWPF Indonesia established a field office in Jakarta, Indonesia in order to more effectively manage and expand its current portfolio. RutgersWPF's Country Strategy in Indonesia focuses on improving sexuality and reproductive health services and information for young
people and decreasing gender based violence.

RutgersWPF Indonesia manages program of Adult Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (ASRHR) and Gender Based Violence (GBV) programs in various provinces in Indonesia. In cooperation with various local NGO partners, this program aims to first, to provide ASRHR services for young people such as adequate information on ASRHR issues, including enhancing capacity building

g for teachers and parents; and second to provide intervention program to prevent gender based violence with local NGO partners, and third, to mobilize advocacy program to influence decision makers to support SRHR education and GBV programs and provide adequate budget for that.

Due to this project development, we are now seeking outstanding candidate talents to fill the following positions at our Jakarta Office:

FINANCE MANAGER (Code FM)

Task and Responsibilities
1.Responsible for overall management and direction of WPF finance operations, communications, budgeting, budget tracking, balance sheet and internal control.

2.Maintain systems and controls to ensure the efficiency, integrity and transparency of the field office and program operations in accordance with guidelines provided by Country Representative, and internationally accepted accounting standards.

3.Ensure that all accounting records and supporting documentation for all financial transactions are maintained in a systematic order and in safe and secure conditions in the field office.

4.Provide Country Representative with complete, accurate and timely financial reports, including institutional donor reports where required for all program implemented in the field office, in the required formats.

5.Maintain accurate and effective financial controls on all transactions incurred by the field office as part of program implementation and other related costs.

6.Maintain effective control over cash and bank, and ensure that cash in hand and bank reconcile with accounting records.

7.Provide quarterly and where required monthly financial reports to Country Representative and the Head Quarters Finance department on timely manner.

8.Ensuring that field expenditures meet WPF and institutional donor requirements and remain within the approved plans and budgets.

9.Managing all the preparation of budgets for project proposal and annual field office budgets.

10.Establish effective and efficient work of budgetary, accounting, reporting and internal control systems for the field.

11.Monitoring and reconcile the control accounts of the office and field offices.

12.Collaboration with Program Manager, oversees financial situation, and manage funds for overall project activities following the long term plan.

Qualification

·At least Master Degree majoring in finance or related field, from reputable university (preferably knowing about accounting field)
·Experience at least 5 years working in International NGO in the same field.
·Experience in budgeting, internal control, and salary tax income.
·Ability working both in a team or independent, mature, adaptive, communicative, hard workers
·Excellent written and spoken English
·Experience in working on Financial Software System.
·Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Power Point)
·Willing to work in gender equity working environment
·Service oriented person
