Jakarta, Indonesia for the post of :
Procurement/Logistic Officer
(12 Months Fixed Term contract)
Key tasks and responsibilities
To follow the procurement practices and keeping records to all audit trail standard
To obtain no less than 3 quotations, prepare a comparative BID Analysis and recommendation to purchase Committee minutes where appropriate
. Further, with appropriate authorisation execute the purchase of appropriate supplies and arrange delivery in a timely and cost effective manner
To liaise and co-ordinate with the relevant sub delegations/departments/ functions regarding delivery of suppliers and keep all parties informed of any changes in a timely manner
To identify and maintain an accurate and up-to-date supplier information database for Jakarta.
. Establish and maintain a good professional working relationship with suppliers
To ensure that all purchase goods are done properly and fit for the purpose and have appropriate inspection report or certificates as required
To continuously inform and update Delegates, National staff and PNS staff on procurement procedures
To produce regularly, timely and accurate narrative weekly procurement reports for Jakarta
Maintain accurate materials listing price
Update and maintain the computerized archives system and perform the filing of files.
To liaise with international, governmental and non governmental organization and collaborate where appropriate
Any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisors
Qualification & Experience:
University Degree 1-4 years of working experience and training in procurement and purchasing
Experience of managing and supporting staff or expatriates
Experience in working for the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
Experience of working for humanitarian aid organization in develop or developing country
Advanced skills in computers (Windows, spreadsheets,word-processing, email and internet)
Excellent spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia
