The Purpose of Job
To lead, manage and monitor key account team to handle inquiries from key accounts.
To manage and lead the team to contact and to develop revenue performance from key accounts.
To monitor and be accountable for revenue performance from key accounts.
To manage records of customer activity, process and follow up in resolving customer problems with other departments.
To make a decision of good judgment in the administration of optional pricing programs, including ensuring validation process shall be done 100% compliance before invoicing.
To manage budget of key account department.
To develop key account departments by improving work quality in order to cope with increasing demands from key accounts.
To manage, build and promote good working environment with his/her sales workkey and other department as well
Role & Job Responsibility
To lead, manage and monitor key account team to handle inquiries from key accounts, such as:
Manage customer servicing process (handle incoming calls, pickup calls, tracking and tracing, handle claims and its reporting)
Alignment with PIC of other related department for customer inquiry, such as: vessel schedule, transportation cost, handling, etc.
Monitor and be accountable in sending proposal and rate quotation to key accounts with certain level of sales amount to be delegated to his/her team member.
To manage and lead the team to contact and to develop revenue performance from key accounts, such as:
Manage regular visit to key accounts key contacts and its achievement, reported to Senior Commercial Manager.
Implement tactics to extend product and service offering to key accounts.
Extend relationship to other departments outside of regular contacts.
To monitor and be accountable for revenue performance from key accounts, such as:
Ensuring sales revenue performance beating monthly sales budget by 100% at minimum.
Communicating sales budget variance and tactics to close the revenue gap to upper management.
Ensuring sales revenue would be invoiced in timely manner.
Ensuring sales revenue from prospective and committed customers.
Setting sales performance for each AE and monitor their accomplishment.
To manage records of customer activity, process and follow up in resolving customer problems with other departments, such as:
Define named accounts for each AE and their roles of responsibility when handling key accounts.
Manage to collect projections from customers and team member for consolidation reports.
Identify sales and customer-related issues; research and propose possible solution in order to ensure effective planning of sales strategic to obtain revenue target.
Ensure sales level agreement submission for each key accounts.
Manage and follow up claim inquiries from key accounts within set time line.
Manage customer surveys from key accounts.
To make a decision of good judgment in the administration of optional pricing programs, including ensuring validation process shall be done 100% compliance before invoicing, such as:
Manage to provide administrative support for the sales workkey during pricing administration and validation process.
Monitor implementation of sales margin within level authority set forth by company.
Ensure the team to provide solution best fit pricing and services for key accounts and could give profitable revenue for company.
Analyze revenue trend of each key account and give feedback of actions should be done to upper management.
Ensure and monitor validation program in regular basis for on-time sales performance and invoicing process to key accounts.
To manage budget of key account department, such as:
Plan, organize, execute and monitor sales programs that are good for profitable sales generation for the company.
Contributing ideas for the company in order to maintain and develop revenues from key accounts with minimum expense.
Be accountable for every purchase request, travel trip and other overhead expenses, more over on entertainments for customers.
To develop key account departments by improving work quality in order to cope with increasing demands from key accounts, such as:
Setting KPI for each AE.
Learning, develop and implement new system or process to simplify the work load thus improving result for customers.
Actively coaching all team members to be consultative selling and servicing.
Manage the development of Sales automation programs and understand the system.
To build and promote good working environment with his/her sales workkey, such as:
Manage individual performance of each team member.
Coaching, mentoring, tutoring team members in regular basis.
Reward and communicate great results from team members to upper management.
Develop succession plan.
Plan, organize and execute internal/external trainings for each team member.
Actively involve in regular meeting within Sales workkey and other internal department meeting.
Working Condition
Both Office and Out Door (Visit Customer)
Education & Competency
Preferably S1 Degree, minimum diploma degree with 5 years working experience.
Minimum of one (2) years experience in leading a team.
Must have a hands-on experienced in Logistic and Transportation.
Have a good understanding about Mining, Oil and Gas, Energy, Telco and B2B industry.
Able to communicate effectively in English both verbal and written.
Able to work closely with internal customers effectively and accurately.
Able to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and be proactive
