Cashier for Mentawai Emergency Response

We are trying to find the best possible candidates to make the Mercy Corps team stronger.

In its role as a support to Finance Department provides timely reports and assistance to the Program team to ensure that financial resources and admin are used efficiently and effectively.

WEST SUMATERA (based in Mentawai)

Cashier– Mentawai Emergency Response

The Cashier is responsible for assisting in Administration, Property, Travel, accounting and documentation of all financial transactions in timely and accurate manner, also other duties as position description.

This position will involve significant travel amongst the Mentawai Islands – with difficult living conditions at time. The ideal candidate must be able to live in difficult field conditions and manage professionally.

Qualifications:
· One or more years of bookkeeping, banking or cashiering experience and office administration.
· A diploma in accounting or a relevant business field is desirable.
· Strong computer skills in MS Office programs, particularly Excel
· Accuracy in the processing of cash transactions, mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
· Good in English

This position will be as a temporary staff for 3 months.
