Media Relations General Superintendent

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationship with national and local media to create productive working relationship to improve media's understanding of the company's operations, activities and policies.

Plan, develop and organize company's events which have potentials to get coverage from the national and local media.

Plan, organize and monitor media visit to jobsite to educate journalists about the company's operations and activities.

Develop, supervise and control production and publishing of company's advertorials in local and national media to increase public's awareness and understanding of company's operations and activities.

Supervise media monitoring of company's-related issues in international, national and local media and provide analysis on the media industry and key media players to management to create better understanding of the media landscape.

Plan, organize, lead and evaluate company' events to achieve company's goal of creating and improving the company's public image.

Develop, analyze, monitor and control concept program, partnership, budgeting, and media plan for company's event to ensure and improve company's positive image within allocated budget and in compliance with department's goals.

Lead and supervise planning, production and distribution of quarterly company's magazine. This position is also responsible for the editorial content of the magazine.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science/Sociology, International Relations, Communications or equivalent.

At least 7 year(s) of working experience in communications/public relations business or in multinational company or news.

Good knowledge and understanding in the communication principles and practices, broad knowledge and the ability to understand the complexity of the company operations.

Expertise in landscape and mainstream for mass communications.

Good communication skills in both Indonesian and English (written and spoken).

Computer literate.

Have an outgoing, communicative disposition.
