ACCESS Education Beyond is an initiative of the Putera Sampoerna Foundation which contributes to its mission of developing future leaders and entrepreneurs for Indonesia to meet the challenges of global participation. ACCESS supports Indonesian students, parents and professionals in identifying, preparing and successfully enrolling in American and international universities with a fully comprehensive, professional and strategic capacity, and fosters university-to-university partnerships between nations.
Responsibilities:
- Counsel Indonesian students in preparing and successfully enrolling in universities abroad
- Preparing seminars on specialized topics about international higher education for public events
- Other duties may include SAT, TOEFL, and English essay writing course facilitation, depending on the candidate’s capacity and experience
Location:
Based in Jakarta with travel to Palembang and Malang.
Qualifications:
- Experience working in university admissions, higher education or as a university guidance counselor
- Must have attended university in America or elsewhere internationally outside of Indonesia
- Must be proficient in Indonesian and English
- Teaching experience is a plus or proven experience working with high-school and university aged students
- Must be able to work well with a team in a high paced environment
- Prior work experience in Indonesia is a plus
